We weren't sure what to expect when reading the description of the restaurant (Asian, Middle Eastern and European?), but after a long day of driving the Hardangerfjord scenic route and hiking up to Buarbreen Glacier, we were tired and ready to eat. The food was quite tasty - we ordered Chicken Tikka, Chicken Fatah, and the Spaghetti with Chicken. Very fast and attentive service, including a buzzer you can ring to call the waiter if you're sitting downstairs. Centrally located in Odda.Dear guest Greetings from Glacier restaurant team. Thank you for your review and appreciation. Guests from more than 50 countries visited us last year. Its the same this year too. That is why we try to cover food from all over the world rather than serving just Pizza hamburger.

We had to hike uphill for 30 minutes along a roaring stream to get to this restaurant (from the Hardanger Hotel near the bus station in Odda) but it was worth it for the superb views and wonderful cuisine. Unusually for Norway, this restaurant served EXCELLENT WINE. The food was wonderful, fish dishes where the fish was NOT overcooked or dry, and the sauces were yummy.
We wanted some coffee and a bite to eat. The weather was warm and we wanted to sit outside. This place has both inside and outside seating. They have baguettes, open Facebook sandwiches, hamburgers and fries, smoothies, soft drinks, quiche (that they call pie). We got the shrimp baguettes, a coffee and a smoothie. Prices like everything in Norway are high. Not cheap, but not overly expensive though. Lokalstyre were eating here, so that is a good sign.
