The restaurant is a short and pleasant walk away from the Park Inn hotel. The weather in June was excellent so enjoyed having dinner on the terrace. The menu is very varied so it's difficult to make a choice. Great choice in draft beers. Overall the food quality was good (had Greek salad and grilled salmon) and the portions are rich. Good value for money. The service tend to be a bit slow even though the inside restaurant was virtually empty and there weren't that many people on the terrace either. Nevertheless an enjoyable experience.

Nice place with hundreds of Black-Lable whisky bottle decoration offering a wide variety of food types. We tried their freshly made dumplings of different types, and they were excellent and wonderful. Sushi was a bit stale and can be avoided. Good similing tolerant service in spite of serious problems of English language communication.Good day. Thank you for your feedback. Always glad to see you!

Gastronomic theatre. Restaurant-Museum. Summer terrace on the roof. The chef repeated winner of international competitions, the winner of the Kremlin Cup and the title of master chef!
Yes, this restaurant has outstanding decorations (puppet theater theme) and some creative presentation (for example, salad is served in a tiny bathtub). It also has some extremely broad menu with some exotic items like moose, bear and such. That surely makes the place unique and non average. But on the flip side, there are weak sides too. The broad menu means meals are not perfected. Actually, when I ordered gazpacho soup, it was served as a ice ball in the center with boiled tomato on the sides - looks like they simply reheated frozen soup and didn't even bother to check the consistency. Needless to say the taste was not good by any standards. And while eating in the theater/museum setting is unusual, I wouldn't call it appetizing. Also, our bill included something we didn't order (a few friends told us similar stories, so check your bill before you pay!).Overall, this is a kind of place you'd bring someone to amuse, but not necessary come and eat on a regular basis.

This restaurant is akin to having a weird out of body experience. What you basically have is replica of the Wild West of America; ie replica saloon bar, come tee-pee come restaurant come railway. It's ridiculously authentic. If someone said the owner took his or her cheque book to the States, toured and bought up chunks of old American artefacts and saloon bar fixtures, not to mention a railway car that provides a private dinning experience, I'd believe them. This is the kind of recreation that Disney would dream up. It works because as a Westerner the last thing you expect to find in Siberia, is this imaginative space. It's fun. We were there on a very quiet weekday but I could imagine weekends it's a party atmosphere. The dishes are less American and more weird with everything from T-Bone steaks to, yes, bull's testicles. I lived in Argentina so I am pretty open minded having eaten every conceivable part a cow, sheep or goat for that matter. But some of those things are not going to be to everyone's taste. But you will find normal dishes. I stuck to the offal: great kidneys. It's a huge menu. For me too much choice. I get lost when there's so much choice. They do have an English menu. It's not terribly expensive. Affordable. Staff are very friendly. As a visitor I come to places off the beaten track, like Novosibirsk, to experience the local culture. And this is more eclectic / down right weird, being a concoction of old-Americana in Siberia. But it makes the experience all the more unusual. It's a fun place. It's not pretending to be a slice of Siberian life. And bear in mind, you hardly see Westerners in this neck of the wood so it's here for the locals. Go on a busy night.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife and a friend during our Trans-Siberian trip. My wife has Celiacâs Disease and has to eat a strict Gluten Free diet. With the help of our waitress she was given a number of safe choices and enjoyed her meal. My friend and both enjoyed our meals too. Tasty and a good price. Give them our recommendation.

Didnât realise Goodmanâs was a Russian chain until this visit, the waiter (Dimitri) was charming and friendly sharing much detail of his hobbies etc, but possibly most importantly the best food to choose, guiding us to a Rib Eye!! The steak was fabulous, as was the wine. Highly recommended

Gusi restaurant is at the same time a microbrewery. The beers are really excellent. I tasted the stout and the white beer. Both were of high quality. The menu proposes a broad choice of starters, soups, typical Russian food and some fishes. Every thing is tasty. The staff is efficient and welcoming.
