Find out what European restaurants to try in Nottingham. This town in the very center of England is perhaps best known for its association with the legend of Robin Hood. The men in tights are long gone, though—today, you’ll find a modern city with a fantastic playhouse, ice hockey arena, and many, many shops and clubs.

We had not made a reservation and it was a Saturday evening, so they only had a place at the bar for us. We noticed that some tables remained free all night, but the bar area is quite nice as well. Service attentive and helpful. The portion were not very big, even for Tapas, but they tasted very nice.Definitely coming back, and probably with a reservation!Hi There,Thank you so much for your review. It started with two fellas, a chef & a team of creative students. Our dream was simple, to open a new pop up concept, serving proper pizzas and all things sweet. Our journey began with a backpack, a camera and a notepad. After 17 weeks, 5700 miles and 6 s
Out with my family and wanted to eat lunch somewhere which was new to us. Came across 'Happy Dough Lucky' down one of the smaller roads between Broadway and the Arena. It is in the Lacemarket building and so I was slightly unsure on the set up at first, but turns out it was a 'pop-up' restaurant which has kept going due to its popularity. It was a Saturday mid-day and it was quiet as they had just opened for lunchtime. Friendly welcome and good service. Nice to go somewhere with their own selection of pizzas and drinks, and appreciated the pizzas being explained and level of 'spiciness'. Waited for the pizza to be made from scratch. They tasted good and had good drinks. Certainly would go again if in that area. Can imagine it'll be busy in the evening. One to watch.

Venezia is one of Nottinghamâs most popular traditional Italian restaurant for all the family. Italian chefs and true Italian food hand picked and sourced from the finest suppliers available. We pride ourselves on our home made dishes, all hand prepared b
Our third and probably last visit to Venezia.Walked into the restaurant about half an hour before our table reservation, with the intention of getting a drink prior to our meal. Attempted to order at bar, but was interrupted by a member of staff as they were obviously having a dispute with the bar staff about a dining tables orders for drinks. Got the feeling then that there was something amiss for the night, and should have bailed!Restaurant was very busy, with staff running around all over the place, it was a strange environment, we were very conscious that we were an inconvenience and in the way all the time, rather than being a welcomed guest. A feeling I couldn't shake for the evening.Made it to our table, which was nice, food was very slow. Sat down at 8 and main course arrived just after 9:15. To be fair the food was good, fillet steak was excellent, vegetarian risotto was missing some seasoning but was good. However restaurant was obviously overbooked for the kitchen capacity, what was supposed to be a celebratory meal felt like it was a rather fraught dinner at a school canteen. Staff were not interested and to be honest by the end we were please to get away.Shame as it was becoming a favourite restaurant in the area, but we will go an be an 'inconvenience' elsewhere in the future!

Bar Iberico embraces the Spanish concept of sharing. Our tapas dishes are designed to allow you to explore our menu giving you the opportunity to sample a varied selection of dishes. Please note that we are a walk in venue only. However we do take booking
My boyfriend and I went here for a late dinner and were not disappointed. We shared about 5 or 6 tapas and were absolutely stuffed. Having previously lived in Zaragoza, Spain, the tapas here were just as good. We also had a few cocktails and these were good but were all a bit too sweet/watery for my taste. The restaurant was busy but service was good and I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere.

There was nothing wrong with Ania, but just not quite my cup of tea. The food I sampled was simplistic, home cooked style, which although highly rated by others and my companions, didn't quite seem value for money (£13.95 for meat and a small amount of veg) - but that is MY opinion of the food I ordered.Hadn't had Tyskie lager for years, and now I remember why!!Ania herself was friendly after a fairly cold reception, and became warmer as the evening went on.We went on a recommendation, but honestly I wouldn't go back anytime soon. Each to their own eh?

Our meal was so good. Much better than I even expected. Portobello mushroom starters. Wife had the excellent bouillabaisse. I had the pork. Without doubt the nicest pork I have ever had. Wonderfully slow roasted, with incredible crackling and a lovely sauce. We were too full for dessert. Really nice Malbec to drink with it. Great, friendly service. Fantastic!
