I was taken to this restaurant by a Biel's local guy.It was according the expectations: good service, not wide assortment but working on receipts they know will go well.It's driven by the owner in the kitchen, what makes a big different from others. I had a very nice carpaccio and a superb beef tartar. Fully recommendable if you want to get not super ambitious receipts but being sure that what is done is done wanting to be as good as possible. The price is very nice for what you get.Small place with friendly ambience. A bit noisy but not too much.

On our first night in Switzerland we met our nephew and niece in Biel, and had dinner on the lake at La Peniche. Unfortunately the wind kicked up too strong to sit outside overlooking the docks and we had to move inside. The décor was cozy and the restaurant quickly filled up. While full, it did not become overly noisy, which was nice. Our dinner was excellent! I would highly recommend their wine soup (a local dish), and the veal rib eye was excellent (if you like veal). Wine selection was fine. I would readily eat at this restaurant again.

A romantic (small = intimate) restaurant with excellent food and wine. The service is impeccable - good advice for the wine and very quick and discreet. The lunch menus are good value and service is fast. This place is well worth a visit, for lunch or dinner.

A small, cozy restaurant. No big menu card, but what is offered is always fresh and up to date! The host / cook has also often surprising recommendations that you should take to heart.We were never disappointed until now, it tempts us to go there again and again.

The interior of Stadthaus is really nice and, despite it's village location, is always buzzing. Booking is recommended for popular nights like Friday. Their tomato soup is amazing and so are all the pizzas and other dishes. Definitely worth a visit. Staff are always friendly!

Situated on the lakefront in Biel (aka Bienne), Switzerland, this brewery and pub features daily specials as well as burgers, pasta, and salads. The otherwise unassuming dining room is dominated by two huge copper kettles and windows opening on the Bielersee shore and surrounding hills. The burgers are tasty, the seasoned fries very satisfying, and drinking a ginger-flavored beer a few feet from where it was brewed makes it even more delicious. The (at least trilingual) staff is friendly and efficient. A great stop on a sunny day with friends and/or family!

Really enjoyed the "Eglifilets à la meunière" although they were coming from abroad (which is just because of the season for local fish was already over). Service was attentive, suggest local white wine was simply amazing ....

We took our friend from London for dinner to Peroquet Vert as we were looking for something nice and pretty and different in our local Neuchatel and nothing matched the criteria. It was definitely worth the drive and we ended up spending delightful 4 hours in this delicious and friendly restaurant. All the food we had was wonderful, simple and delicious! Nothing really fancy here, but all that is offered is great quality. The service is exceptional, all areas of the restaurant are wonderfully clean, really nothing to complain about. It is no cheap, but cheap restaurants do not really exist in Switzerland so all good! Go and enjoy one of the best places to eat in this part of Switzerland!
