Four of us went for dinner on a quiet week-day night: Three of the four had pork and clams, a Portuguese classic. Primavera's version was served on huge platters on which diced home-fry-style potatoes were used a bed for the pork and clams. While the pork was flavorful, it was also undercooked and tough. The clams, which should have been the size of littlenecks were instead quahogs, not cooked properly and virtually un-chewable. The addition of some of the stewing juices might have been helpful to the overall quality of the dish.A shredded cod salad was inoffensive and not memorable. What were absolutely brilliant were the desserts made in-house, an excellent flan and especially the creme bruleeâdon't leave here without trying it!The selection of Portuguese wines was good although the waitstaff had no knowledge of what they were. Fortunately we did.Service was averageâno complaints. Ambience is home-style and straight forwardâno frills.

Had dinner here with friends on a Thursday evening. Our server was delightful, knowledgeable, and took great care of us. Service was laid back (which some may find slow), but we enjoyed not being rushed during our meal. It has been a very long time since we've been anywhere where all members of our party said that their meals were outstanding, but this was one of those times! One had the herbed trout, one had the duck leg confit, and I had the special - a delicious cassoulet. The vegetables and white beans were nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked and it was topped with duck confit that was melt in your mouth fabulous. We had fun ordering three different desserts and sharing them. One had a sundae, I had the special banana creme tart with shaved dark chocolate, and the last choice was our favorite - the duo chocolate mouse dome with wildberry glacee. It was pure decadence. It was a terrific evening all around.

Went here for lunch and had the Ukrainian borsch which was wonderful, as well as the equally delicious beef stroganoff - the meat was lean and tender. Red cabbage was delicious, also. Portions were generous and totally reasonably priced. Wish they were in my neighborhood!
