For the last night in Sydney we were looking for a nice place and a good meal and a kind waitress in our hotel suggested this place. The area is amazing, the restaurant nice and calm and the food overal good, despite quite elaborate: more close to french cousine than spanish, but quuge interesting! We asked for Sangria, that they slso not offer, and they propose their spritz that has nothing to do with a real Spritz!Overall, the experience was good sonwr reccoment it.Hola,Thank you kindly for taking the time to write this great review. We are so pleased you enjoyed dining with us and appreciate you sharing your experience. You are quite correct, our cuisine is not classically Spanish, however we do draw inspiration from all over the Mediterranean, hence the varied styles of cuisine on our menu.I was our pleasure to host you and we hope to see you again one day. With appreciation,Mercado Team

A light modern space with views of Barangaroo. Delicious combinations involving smoked eggplant salad, lentil kofte, haloumi with honey dressing. Delicate and very fresh seafood. Sensational char grilled calamari, snapper on the bone. Grilled octopus with warm salsa - make sure you ask for chocolate hu'mousse. I've never seen anything like it!Interesting wine list with a mix of Turkish wines with a good selection by the glass. Plating was sophisticated and stylish. There is room for service to improve.Much higher quality than many "multi hatted" places I've been and better value.

Balcon by Tapavino's obsession of all things Spanish takes it up a notch with our contemporary take on the rustic and refined dishes from Northern Spain. With over 4000 bottles on display, a 12 meter bar, and and outdoor dining area that's sure to attract
Balcon is a classy Tapas And Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Sydney. The menu was certainly well thought out and the food presentation was excellent. There is no value for money here and not much change for $100 + / headThere is nothing wrong with this restaurant but for me the food was say so and I wouldnât go back here based on the cost. There are better restaurants around with out spending so extravagantly

Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner. Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.

Worth the booking. Immaculate seating, decore and polished service by dedicated, educated staff. The view is the gateway to Sydney harbour. The femme gorged on a doz. oysters, scotch fillet with mushies, bacon and creamed potatoes. I plumped for the whiting with vongole, creamed corn, farro and parsley oil. We shared sheep milk pannacotta with berry sorbet, strawberry, meringue and white chocolate. Order me a stretcher, si vous plais .

There is the âWOWâ factor with the location and being greeted and seated by welcoming smiling faces set us up for what I expected to be a great experience. We were early for a pre show so had a limited menu. My first course was steak tartare and was delicious although hard to identify as food with it being covered in flowers. My main was a pork chop. What can you do with a pork chop? It was directed and reassembled and covered with wilted spinach and - more flowers. Still just a pork chop. Potatoes were an extra $10.My wife was very happy with her Moreton Bay Bug and Duck so no complaints there.I understand why restaurants double up the retail price of wine.I cannot accept charging 3 times retail. Their extensive wine list was predominantly in the three figures category. Looking around I understood why many diners chose NOT to drink. The service was professional and friendly if somewhat overwhelming. Our glasses were topped up after every sip and we must have been asked a dozen times âhow is everything so far?âAn interesting experience but not one I would want to repeat.

Located in the heart of Crows Nestâs restaurant district, Le Bouchon is a complete Café and Bistro destination, bringing a taste of traditional French cuisine to the Lower North Shore. French for cork, the word âbouchonâ is used in Lyon, the capital of ga
Quite nice French restaurant. Nice friendly service. Steak Frites was not very good. Quality of the cut of meat was quite low, steak was a bit chewy with fatty parts. Had the chicken Maryland confit which was quite good. Fries were nice, menu a bit on the expensive side
