Cibare' - Regno delle due Cucine is a Restaurant located in the heart of the city of Naples, with the aim of reviving emotions through the historical dishes of our Bourbon cuisine characterized by modern furnishings, original design, sober and elegant.
My wife and I have just returned from this restaurant, so the memory of it is fresh in our minds. It was excellent. Extensive wine list. Excellent service, and very accommodating of English speakers. Diverse menu, with plenty of options for all tastes. Portion sizes were modest, so we could have multiple courses. Quiet and intimate, with tables for approximately nine parties. Braciolettini and Tonnata Rosso highly recommended. Delicioso! One more thing: kudos for an exceptionally clean restroom!

Closed for vacation till the 2nd of September included.
We were told about this place by our taxi driver whilst in transit from airport. Highly recommended by him. We were staying very close so it seemed an obvious choice. We booked the previous night for the 7.30 âsittingâ. We duly arrived just after what appeared to be many people who knew each other or knew the management. Finally we were shown to our table. On looking at the menu we found we had the Italian menu. After a while we were told no English menu was available which was annoying. Never mind we would have someone explain to us what was available. He finally arrived to explain but quite frankly all that was conveyed was that he didnât really have time for this. I chose just something with gamberoni because I knew I liked them. I did not know it was a very large pasta which is not the pasta I would chosen had I had an English menu. We also only chose one dish because we had earlier been tempted in to a very delightful pizzeria. We were not that hungry. This decision was met with obvious disdain. Of course I appreciate absolutely I am in Italy so I should reasonably expect to have an Italian menu. However this was an area with many tourists. It was more the surly uncooperative and unhelpful manner of the waiters that left me feeling I wished we had chosen a different restaurant. The wine was very good !!!!

As wife is celiac this was the obvious place to try and it didn't disappoint. Great selection of pasta dishes which are not available elsewhere in different sauces. We shared starters and both were excellent, pasta mains were also good but wife's mussel dish had an unusual taste and wasn't her favourite. Pudding selection was varied and tasted great. Overall food was good but not the cheapest we ate. Restaurant is easy to find, small but very quaint. Well worth a visit for all celiacs.

Rustic and filling. Simple and fresh food without any frills. Lovely swordfish, prawns and octopus. Good eggplant and courgettes. White wine from Campania was lovely, red was heavy. Had to send back one dead bottle. The bubbly starter was flat.Good ambience on Chiaia street.

When you enter the restaurant, you first see a deli stocked with the best cheeses and charcuterie, on the walls are boxes of dried pasta, sauces, jars of tuna, olives, and tomatoes. Walk further in are 2 dining rooms.Had a wonderful greeting from the owner. Menus printed in English with full descriptions.I've always wanted to try the jar tuna soaked in olive oil, so, had the tuna salad that were big pieces of tuna on top of marinated artichokes. Delicious and full of different textures. Had a special caramelized onion sauce that was cooked for hours, no meat, served on pasta, this was so different, sweet, soft texture, and was very good. Also had a stewed beef, like a pot roast, where the meat was first used to flavor a sauce, then the meat is used for the next course; this was so tender and flavorful. Excellent service.

We tried linguini and orzo (a pasta in very small pieces that we don't know in Spain) and they were two really extraordinary dishes. The sauces are really spectacular and probably the key to the whole thing. The place is tiny and whoever is not interested in watching the cooks may find it uncomfortable or strange. We managed to sit at one of only two tables they have and enjoyed an excellent meal, more expensive than usual in pasta but compensating for the experience, no doubt.
