What a truly delightful place. Small but beautifully ambient. Quirky portraits with bird heads on walls. Waitress was adorable. Helpful. Fun. Food best burger I've ever had. All organic. Salad fresh and zingy. Puddings gorgeous. Upside down cheesecake. Beautifully presented. A couple having a meal with their chuahuahua, paws on the table. So French. X was a perfect experience and affordable.

Large group (14) business dinner. They dealt with the large group well and the restaurant was busy. Food and wine was excellent. As a group we have iberico pork, duck, veal and fish and it was as all well presented and very tasty.Good specials menu and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed with this little restaurant. I had the two-course lunch of two different preparations of tender veal with vegetables and a luscious dessert of nut creme-filled profiteroles made from scratch by their pastry chef. Both dishes were outstanding. My husband had a veal starter and a super pasta dish with a variety of mushrooms, yogurt and dill. British Chef Dominic came out and explained to us what we were eating so that made it extra special. The house red wine was also very nice. Donât miss it when you are in Nantes!

Food: this a creperie, so you will find the normal dishes like ham/cheese/eggs...BUT what you really want to try are the specials: my wife got a Gallette with scallops in a mild curry sauce. Truly amazing. I got the Sardines Gallette, if you like fresh sardines..go for it. For dessert if you like preserved orange and chocolat..get the Crepe! Service: the staff is really really nice! and they went out of their way to prepare a nice personalized plate for our 4 year old boy. Only issue: they get booked fast and it is a small place, so make sure you call well ahead. but it is worth the wait!

Le Petit Boucot is located in Nantes close to the Graslin Theatre and has a 24 seats capacity. Our Chef makes a creative and generous cuisine, cooking local and seasonal products. All our dishes are homemade and we change our menu every day. See you soon!
It perhaps tries a little too hard to meet "Masterchef" standards.Everything was good, but lacked the "wow" factor. My Japanese raviolis and sea bream main were good. The cheese for dessert was okay. The serving staff were especially pleasant and friendly.I recommend reservation in advance.

Dinner. The place is very elegantly decorated, with view of island tip and river. Nice view of the kitchen also. Service was efficient and Gentle. Only strange part was the wine specialist that only appeared upon our request and was not very helpful, basically throwing a massive book of wine in my lap and leaving us. The food. We picked the 70 euro menu and hardly handled everything that came. All was beautifully served. Most was tasting good or at least with interestingly flavors or aromas. Two or three itens were rather bland (eg. melon pieces) and the canard breast needed more cooking (hard to cut and chew).Overall, a great and memorable experience. Very recommended!

We were staying 2 nights at Nantes camping and took the tram into the centre. After a walk round the Chateau des Ducs De Bretagne and the cathedral we took the green walking route de Leon Blum and although we were heading for another restaurant we stopped to eat at the L'Ardoise. It's a small restaurant with a set lunch 18⬠for 3 courses and we paid an extra 2⬠for the cafe gormaund. Service was good and the food was well presented and had a slight Asian flavour to the main dishes. I had the salmon which was really nice and my husband had the entrecote Thai style. I love cafe gormaund and although not the best I have had was ok - 7 out of 10. We really enjoyed our meal and with a carafe of wine we paid 50⬠- about right for a city lunch.
