C'ero stato l'anno scorso e mi ero trovato benissimo con ottime birre e ottimo servizio. Torno quest'anno e ci fa sedere un ragazzo svogliato che poi inizia a guardarsi il telefono ed entrare a cambiare le canzoni della radio. Dopo 15 minuti (eravamo 2 tavoli da due persone), gli chiedo se posso ordinare. Ci accorgiamo subito che da al tavolo accanto servono anche degli stuzzichini (come l'anno precedente anche a noi), forse il nostro accento del nord non li meritava. Al momento di pagare un rincaro di 50 centesimi sul sorbetto, stranamente.... Risultato.... Io che da 36 anni vengo a maglie non mi vedranno più. Ho scoperto che si è affiliato al mallie' lì accanto che ha il medesimo pessimo servizio. Sveglia che il turismo non bisogna farlo scappare.

Gorgeous garden at the back so a really lovely place to be. Very friendly staff but food not quite up to promise. Excellent starters but the meat that we had (Tagliata and a steak) was a little lacking in flavour. We nonetheless enjoyed it but it was a little spoiled when we had to wait over 30 mins for the bill, despite asking 3 times!

We stumbled upon this place by accident really, and we were not disappointed! We went for a birthday lunch, and couldn't have been happier with our choice of restaurant. It was a beautiful setting sat outside in the quiet gardens, and the staff were exceptional throughout. Most importantly - the food was delicious, and the paired wines were absolutely perfect. Although on the upper end in terms of price, it was totally worth it! We even took home a bottle of local wine for £8 - total bargain.

I had another great night in L'Allegra Scottona, watching the Manchester Derby live on TV and enjoying the absolutely delicious food and the fine draught beer. It really is a pleasant place to spend an evening and is friendly with a really positive buzz about it!

We were recommended this restaurant by the staff of the place where we were staying. Just a word of warning. The shutters under the sign will be shut with no indication where the way in is, which is through what looks like an art gallery further along the road. It would have been kind of the establishment to at least put an arrow on them! We were shown to a table outside of which there are plenty. We found both the male waiters rather cocky and reluctant to give us a menu and wine list so we pretty well had to go with what we could see in the way of fish - which looked very fresh and the white wine recommended, which slightly irritated us. The fish was cooked well but the accompanying grigliata de verdura (grilled vegetables) consisted of undercooked aubergine and charred, raw chicory. We had a local artisanal gelato (ice cream with chocolate and nuts) for dessert which was good. This restaurant is obviously popular and the staff super-confident but we are not sure it totally deserves its reputation.

To start with Muro Leccese is a pretty pretty village in Salento ! The main square is fantastic with 2 amazing Baroc churches at both end ! We advise to book in advance , we went mid week and it was full .in summer time toucan eat outside in the square. Very friendly and attentive service , large fish menu and some very good Negroamaro rose wine . Overall we had a great evening with lovely food and atmosphere .

This restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel and the setting on the rooftop was beautiful. We did not have a reservation but we eat early (7:30 )and we were seated right away. The food was OK but not our favorite and the wine was nice but pricey. Lots of staff around but we had to pour our own wine which was weird.
