Having read good reveiws of the restaurant, I looked forward to dinner as part of our half board stay.I expected that there would be some restriction in choice, but we were not even offered a menu, simply told that we would be served Quiche, chicken, cheese and dessert. The food was very simple, for example the chken breast was served with with a slice of boiled celeriac and five mini potatoe croquettes.Breakfast next day did not cheer me up, two kinds of cereal no eggs or freash fruit.

Altough the hotel itself is very nice - the food served at the restaurant has not met our expectations. Rather expensive, average food is served. There's plenty of better options for good local cuisine in Munster.

Former inn on the road Colmar Gérardmer, it is in a warm and neat framework that we will be pleased to welcome you. One address, two restaurants to discover. In our dining room, we welcome you in a relaxed and professional atmosphere, under the attentive
The comments below are for the restaurant, not the bistrot. The restaurant was a discovery and a pleasure (again). We were lucky because we booked when one meal was paid, the other was offered. There was only one menu with 4 courses, all as excellent as each other. The food was superbly fresh and tasty on each course (fine food). We liked particularly a starter (out of 3) with wild mushrooms and a not hard-boiled quail egg in a dressing (I could not explain it but it was estonishing and superbly delicious) and the main course with quails. The proposed wines (one glass for each course) were well chosen, fitting perfectly with each course. The service was courteous (not stiff), careful and professional. The trip to the restaurant was very nice (one can take the "wine road" in the vineyards) and was supplemented by the Alsacian atmosphere of the restaurant. When we finished we viisted "Trois Epis" and made a short walk there.A wonderful day and a wonderful restaurant. We'll be back. All togetherThank you for your comments ! You came during a special period but whatever the offer, our chef works seasonal products. Martine, his wife, select the wines : she is a connoisseur and a wine lover. We are pleased that you enjoy it.

This restaurants' specialty is the 'tarte flambée', a local dish which is pretty similar to pizza but garnished with totally different ingredients, a thinner and crustier dough and baked in a wooden oven. In contrast to other local providers of this dish, the tarte flambée at Flams Gourmandes are rich, well baked, well-proportioned and utterly delicious. Total recommended if you like local food. The menu presents other seasonal dishes aswell.Staff is very friendly. Price is reasonable towards cheap. Full stomach for less than 15 euros.

We passed this restaurant around lunch time just after arrival in Munster - on our way to the tourist information center to get more information on the area. The restaurant looked busy and we gave it a try. Both the galette as the small salad with scallops were really nice.

Excellent food and very friendly staff in this family run restaurant well located in heart of Munster. The melted Munster cheese on potatoes is to die for and the local wines are just excellent. Don't miss this place if you dine in Munster!

Discover the new Hotel Verte Vallée's Restaurant "Les Grands Arbres", located in the heart of the Albert Schweitzer Park in Munster. The Gourmet restaurant welcomes you in a beautiful bright room, right next to the Veranda and the Terrace, the Chef, Thony
Nice restaurant, lovely setting but three forks in the Michelinguide? We hade decent food but one of us were given some not fitting combinations. Duckbreast paired with a bluecheesemash on what I think was polenta did not make me jump. One unfortunate man turned sick during dinner and while walking out "it" happened. It took several minutes before the floor was cleaned.Breakfast the next day was a disaster!

warm atmosphere, great restaurant with yummy gluten free pizzas. Unexpected when we booked, but a relief to my husband who never finds much to eat in italian restaurants. Avoid sitting next to the toilets as the automatic door makes some noise and the place is quite busy too.

We were a group of friends staying in the Alsace for a few days and we had lunch in this restaurant. The menucard was already very appetizing as was the food itself. But most of all the professional yet very friendly service made this lunch to a celebration which will not be forgotten.
