LâAcajou is nestled in an ancient mahogany grove overlooking the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea. The signature restaurant of Sandy Lane, LâAcajou is beautiful and elegant. Its prime location on the picturesque West Coast of Barbados, combined with exce
L'Acajou is the high end restaurant at the Sandy Lane resort and after a fair amount of thought the overall dining experience is certainly the best on Barbados from our recent experience. Very professional and friendly service and the food can not be faulted. Incredible wine list for deep pocketed customers and the food can not be faulted although the meal was very expensive. There is a nice view over the beach which is somewhat spoilt by the open umbrellas just below and the odours wafting up from The Bajan Blue barbecue facility which is close by. Definitely worth a visit so start saving and then enjoy.!! Spoke at length with the chef Patrizia who is Spanish and who obviously cares and is more than 100% committed to the food served to his customers , sourcing top quality produce and it clearly shows.

Went for breakfast to celebrate my Mums birthday - was not staying at the hotel however the service and staff were absolutely brilliant. We had such a lovely time and enjoyed ourselves. The views were absolutely beautiful and the setting. The selection was nice and enjoyed the different dishes. As it was my Mums birthday they gave a cake and made it a special occasion.Would highly recommend and would visit again. Was pricey but as a special one off treat - we enjoyed it.

Ate here on a couple of occassions during our holiday in Barbados, both times being on a Friday night. There is a great female vocalist there on Friday evenings as well, which really adds to the atmosphere of what is essentially a shopping centre. The restraurant is inside the Limegrove shopping Mall. On both occassions we sampled the same Pizzas as they were so good , authentically cooked in a wood fired oven. The service was excellent on both occassions , the choice of wine by the glass is a little limited and I was surprised that they did not offer more Italian wines by the glass. We can also recommend the green Mango juice.

Stunning setting right on the beach. We were the only folks there and got front row seating and excellent service. The lamb shanks were super nicely done and the seafood of the day was snapper and served with el Dante veggies very nice. The open air setting and watching the moonrise was very special.
