we arrived at the restaurant and it was smaller than expected but quite appealing. it was very busy and we had to wait a few minutes to sit. unfortunately for us there were two large groups eating and only one waiter and one bar women in the restaurant. this meant although very kind and on the go, the waiter was slow to serve and take our orders. when the food came it was absolutely nice, however was nothing exceptional.

This is one of those places that if you have to drive to get here it will be totally worthwhile, and of you are nearby is a must to visit. We just had a chance to talk to the Chef, he is the father of the owner and has the passion to make your pallet experience the delicious flavors filling your mouth. Ariela suggested the pizza with the name of the restaurant, the Mika and it was the best pizza I have ever had. The new desert with Nutella, Frangelico and nuts is to die for.

Small restaurant with excellent food. They offer cold and warm tapas and main dishes too. In the menu they have food with worldwide flavours, Mexican, Lebanese, Japanese... Maybe the dishes are small but they are very well served and prepared. The staff is really kind and the atmosphere is just ok. The price is fair.

Taberna Andaluza con tapas caseras, gran variedad de frituras, ensaladillas y carnes estofadas. Postres hechos en casa...te transportarás a la costa de Cádiz o a la SerranÃa de Ronda sólo con cerrar los ojos!!!
Been there with my family for a dinner. A nice place, friendly staff, and very tasty tapas, especially fish ones (including mussels and squid). We had a mixture of all of them and thatâs what Iâd recommend. Take a combination of fried and non-fried dishes as fried ones can be greasy.

Manel was the consummate host. Despite our broken Spanish and his delightful command of English we had an evening of special treats. We followed his leads ( with some of our familyâs allergies) and without a hitch had some delicious local favourites. The bikinis with truffles were perfect. As was the tomato with olive oil on amazing bread. Selection of olives top deck. The four cheese platter, and we mean platter not just a plate, divine. Local wine was a must and was delivered with pride. Steak Tartar best we have ever experienced echoed by the family. Tuna and tomato tartar again took our breath away. Locals and tourists alike filled the locale. Service perfectly paced with Manel arranging the sequence to our delight! Value far beyond the price! We will go back again for sure!

We were scouting for something different, and by chance we found this excellent restaurant. There is a wide variety of burgers, all with a distinct spanish slant to them. The burger buns are out of this world, and the staff is very friendly. Only thing we would have wished for was that the "well done" burger should have had a bit more on the fry.Thank you very much for your opinion and we are sorry that the hamburger was not in the wished point.

Tendencia a reinventar el clásico bar de tapas, haciendo una cocina inspirada en la cocina tradicional, internacional, creativa y evocadora, sin pretensiones.
Absolutely delicious and quite cheap given the quality of the dishes (20 euros per personne including starter, main course and dessert all very tasty). The chef is very friendly, the atmosphere welcoming. we had lunch there and are planning to try the evening menu. If you plan to go, book a table as this place is a deserved success.

Interesting Italian restaurant hidden away in Carrer Sant Miquel. I must have walked past it many times but had never noticed it.We were there for dinner on Saturday and it is obviously very popular. Itâs not very big so reserving is probably important. The service was very intimate and we felt like valued guests, advice was given where needed and we were well looked after. The menu is fairly short, basically pasta (no pizza) but the food when to came was very good. The restaurant is attractive, and they have old Italian films playing projected against the wall at the back of the restaurant which was a nice touch.I expect that we will be back before too long!

The service was good in general as they seated us immediately though we didn't have reservations. But we all ordered different paellas and they all came out burnt equally along with it being cold. Once we took bit into our food, it was super salty as if the chef accidentally poured all his salt into our food while cooking. We tried to tell our server but he kept dodging our complaint and didn't do anything but give us an answer saying "all food in Spain is suppose to be very salty" .... WTH?
