My friend lives down from this restaurant and whenever I am in town we go. The food is wonderful if there in November get the goose some of the best I have ever had. Service always great. Look forward to my next trip and another meal here.

Granted I haven't been here in about 5 years but me and my housemate used to visit this restaurant weekly when we lived in Montabaur for a year. We always used to take advantage of the lunch offer of a starter and a main and were never disappointed even though we used to change what we had there all the time. We always used to get fresh pizza dough as the bread with the starter which was always hot and delicious. The family who run the restaurant are so lovely and inviting and I often think of this place. Would definitely recommend!

Meine Tochter hat mir gestern von dort ein Döner-Sandwich mitgebracht. Leider war es eins der schlechteren Sorte: Brot total weich und zäh wie Gummi, Fleisch zum Teil noch halb roh und kaum gewürzt, Sauce undefinierbar. Den nächsten Döner werde ich wohl bei der Konkurrenz, die nur ein paar Häuser entfernt ist, kaufen.

Based on the reviews of the 3 previous contributors this place was visited with friends who live in Montabauer to check it out for a possible birthday party. Do not even go there.I ordered a rump-steak and cut off 40% fat. Complained to be told that the weight of the steak was balanced with the size including the fat - do not quite know how this can be done. The meat was OK if a bit firm and a small pot of mayonnaise ordered to accompany my chips was charged out at 80cents extra - mostly free elsewhere. My friends chose pasta which they described as of low quality when compared with other restaurants.When it came to paying the bill with my Visa bank debit card this was not accepted as it was from a foreign (Spanish) bank, and they did not accept credit cards unless they had the EC motif.They do not have free Wifi - but this is a minor irritant. No free welcoming schnapps at the end - another small point sometimes offered with better establishments. Overpriced with beer and food. Eventually held my birthday meal in the aptly named "Classic" - huge difference - same size steak,no fat, more juicy and no extra charges, and cheaper, and no problem with card payments. No contest. Avoid the Roundabout.

The name of this restaurant âClassicâ doesnât give any hint about the Croatian cuisine, although it serves classic German dishes too.The cevapcici, the Croatian sausage with cheese, was fairly good albeit a bit salty. The coffee was German-stylish black water with somewhat bitter aftertaste.Service was OK and the bill for two including a bottle of mineral water came to a reasonable 30 EUR.Good enough for a hearty lunch.

This place seemed to me like a hidden gem. I wouldnât have noticed there is a restaurant there, if I didnât know for sure. I was impressed with the service from the beginning until the end and the food was amazing! There were several apprentices serving us, very nicely explaining the menu and making recommendations. Everything we ordered came fast and looked and tasted amazing. There are enough pictures uploaded on Trip Advisor to see for yourself, or better yet, pay them a visit :)

We stayed in Montabaur for one night and picked out Victor's as having the most interesting menu. We weren't disappointed.The portion sizes were more than generous (my rump steak was massive, and came with lots of sides) and the food was all very tasty.The waitress was also very friendly and helpful and the service quick.

Not easy to find but worthwhile to look for.We strolled by without reservation and managed to get the last table for the four of us.The menu is short but comprehensive which makes it easy to to select including the wine options.The served food was very delicious and we pretty much enjoyed the variety and the courteous and pleasant service.We were very amazed to find such a treasure in the small town Montabaur.
