So this is fine dining. The view was wonderful and we could see the sunset. We liked the starter and main was okay. There is a lot of meat in Mongolia but so far I have never been impressed with the deserts.

We had lunch at the Choijin Temple Restaurant as part of our tour of Mongolia. The food and service were probably the best we had in tUlaanbaatar. Everything worked well. Admittedly this is a "tourist" restaurant, but the food seemed authentic. We would recommend..

The service from the wait staff was excellent.I had the beef, with sweet potato and mushroom from the "healthy" menu. The beef was perfectly cooked, very tender. The food came quickly and I enjoyed a Chinggas beer while I waited. They had an extensive international wine list.

Had a lunch there. The Chicken Terriyaki was good, also the Back wrapped fish was amazing. The mongolian set is also a great one for sampling good portions and not heavy. Overall good food. The price is a bit on the higher end but during lunch the price is about 15000MNT I think about 8-10USD

The decor is different with the plants in the walls and it came across to me as somewhere a lot of backpackers may go. It does look a little tired I think.Service was ok, wifi didn't work. I ordered some cheesecake that was still completely frozen.....basically lime flavoured ice. Wouldn't recommend

This place is only a few minutes from my hotel (blue sky). I came here for a late lunch and there was only one table occupied. The lamb chop was good and so is the beer. This restaurant is also just beside the choijin Lama Temple so perfect either before or after visiting the temple.

Not knowing what to expect as this restaurant was our first meal after landing in Ulaanbaatar. We were happily surprised as the food was fresh and prepared on the spot...which of course contributed to the waiting...Our waiter was not fluent in English and we had some misunderstanding about the dishes we ordered. Some other clients told us it is quite acceptable to order in advance, so the waiting become acceptable...

It was nice to come across a restaurant in UB which actually serves up the proper cuts of meat as described. The service was efficient and the beer cold, which was welcomed after a hot day walking around town. My beef fillet/tenderloin was a little over cooked, but tasty nonetheless. The other dishes we had, pasta and chicken were also good.Slightly more expensive than some of the other places in UB, but worth it.
