Mithymna (Greek pronunciation: [ˈmiθimna]) (Greek: Μήθυμνα, also sometimes spelled Methymna) is a town and former municipality on the island of Lesbos, North Aegean, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Lesbos, of which it is a municipal unit. Before 1919, its official name was Μόλυβος - Molyvos; that name dates back to the end of the Byzantine Era, but is still in common use today.

Like other restaurants behind the beach in Molivos, Ramona has a magnificent view if Aegean Sea. It was a great pleasure to take our meal while keeping to watch the scene. So it is the primary reason to make a comment. Food was ordinary, similar to any other Greek meal. It was tasty and enough to accompany to watch the sea.

When you want a change from moussaka and xoriatiki, then Brasserie Bazaar is one of the few places that offers something different from standard Greek fare. Thai curry (spicy!), Turkish meatballs, and burritos are among a few of the delicious dishes that the owner, Amber, serves up with style and a smile. It's a charming spot just above the port with great views. An added bonus: Amber loves books, and frequently hosts readings by authors who have been inspired by Molyvos. A true delight, and not to be missed on a trip here.

Visited here for brunch after a look around the castle, and then returned one evening for food and cocktails. Very popular with tourists and locals, especially during live music evenings. These are well advertised on posters around the town. Menu is extensive with crepes, waffles etc and then pizza, pasta, burgers too.

This was, without doubt, our best meal of the holiday : the quality was exceptional, the presentation impressive and the service great, with views to die for.and a relaxed, classy ambience. My husband had the pork in honey and balsamic sauce, which was exceptionally tender and absolutely delicious. I had the salmon on the specials menu, grilled in citrus fruits and the best cooked salmon I have ever tasted. The house rose was also very good. There is a cover charge, but given the quality of the bread and home made dips served first and the divine coffee mousse to share served after, I can't complain and we tipped well, so impressive was the experience. This is the perfect restaurant for a romantic meal / special occasion or just because....we will be back!

All Greek tavernas are alike..They all have traditional greek dishes and the food is usually good.This restaurant has something more...The lady owner and cook, improvises and has greek dishes with a "twist"...of her inspiration.The result is perfect.The service is quick and very friendly...the prices are a bit over-prized that is why it is never crowed.The interior is cosy and the veranda for the out-door sitting has an absolutely stunning view of the bay and the village.I always visit it when I am there.

My 2 girlfriends and I ate 2x here. We loved the food and atmosphere and Roula , the owner is friendly and very accommodating. The prices are fair and the food is more interesting than the other restaurants around. I definitely recommend this place.

Amazing food, all fresh ingredients, served at the right temperature, professional chef and friendly staff, I have been going there for food many times and was never disappointed. The view is fantastic, especially during sunset,the cocktails are also great. highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant on our final night in Molyvos as Iâd read the great reviews. Perhaps I was expecting too much. It was friendly and had lovely views but more expensive than other restaurants serving very similar food. I had the Gigantes - giant beans but not giant portion (yes I admit itâs a starter but at other places I got a bigger portion as a starter). Itâs clear that itâs a place where regulars go and there were lots of happy faces (almost like customers were family). Perhaps a few visits are needed to get this level of service that others seemed to have. No end of meal watermelon, or small drink which means I am rating lower than the nearby Tropicana which was absolutely superb! Meal was tasty enough but not outstanding.
