Da Rosa is a must for any travellers to Macerata province of Marche region. A small place, tuked down a small Vicolo in the Centro Storico of Macerata, the menu combines historic dishes, wonderful Primis and some incredible meats that include a wide range of game. Before our primi piatti we were served a bouche amuse of carpaccio of smoked pork steak on a bed of raw fennel. Our primis were an ambrosial asparagus risotto and an Antonio Nebbia Lasgagne consisting of melt in you mouth layers of wild mushrooms and meat, topped with cheesy bechamel and black truffles. Our mains were Coniglio e Finocchio and Agnello with Artichoke, we had a platter of roast vegetables (potatoes, carrot with Saffron, Zucchini, Cicoria). All were mouth wateringly wonderful. The coffee came with 2 types of home made biscuits and candied orange rind and dark chocolate. The house white was crisp and fruity and the range of 4 home made breads, another treat.

A chic, charming setting on a side-street of one of Marche's loveliest small-towns. The menu is simple and limited, but the meat and cheese selection is always excellent, the wine list is a nice mix of local and other Italian wines, and the service is wonderfully friendly. The homemade tiramisu is a winner as well. This is what you hoped your dinner in Italy would be-- quiet, romantic, and delicious.

I love the experience when you're not given a menu and just told what is special on the day. The waiter, chef, owner William will take you through a wide variety of delicious selections including olives from his mother's garden and then regale you with local tales and even a personal experience with subprime in Florida. Here you get the tast of delicious vegetarian food you are searching for in Italy! Friendly service and interesting, daily changing menu. Even many Vegan variations! Try the refeshing tast of different variations of homemade fruit juices, like peach-Apple-Ginger-carrot combination. Highly Recommended! Best Restaurant so far in Marche (already been here for 2 weeks)

We just had a meal which epitomises everything which is perfect about Italian food: Delicious ingredients, perfectly cooked, fantastic wine and charmimg service.The steak was cooked absolotely perfectly and liberally anointed with fresh shaved truffle, the wine was orgasmic. the tirà misu was homemade, light as a cloud and we floated home on a wave of bliss. Back soon.Fantastic value- in London you would pay more than the total bill just for the wine!

A beautiful restaurant where you can sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the Sibilline mountains. Wonderful service and really friendly and helpful staff. They put on several special vegetarian dishes for us - which were delicious. The cooking is superb and the price is incredibly reasonable for such a stylish restaurant. The wine - most of it locally produced - was also very special.We cannot recommend it too highly - we went there eight times in a month - recommendation indeed!
