Piatto Bistro is a wonderful restaurant that offers delicious food. We have had several functions there over the years, and recently returned to have lunch with a friend. Their cuisine is Italian based with some fusion. Portions are not large, but will satisfy your appetite. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and the wait staff are attentive without being bothersome. Good food, lovely atmosphere and a great place to enjoy s good meal. Bon apetitto!

Had a lovely dinner with my Mom last evening. There was a mushroom and stout soup that was wonderful (not too salty, which I often find is the case with their soups). We both had the grilled octopus salad - the octopus was cooked to perfection!!

Visited on Thursday September 12th with a group of 12 people. Restaurant was very busy so we anticipated slow service. However it was beyond slow. We received our drink order in about 20 minutes then waited for another 20 minutes to place our food order. After arriving at the restaurant at 6.30 pm we did not receive our food until after 8.00 pm. My wife and I had the special... crepes with tenderloin tips and a mushroom sauce. There was one crepe with about three small pieces of tenderloin. The only vegetable was a very small dish of lettuce.By the time our group had finished the main course there was no time for us to order coffee and desserts. To add insult to injury many of the bills were incorrect. It took my wife and I three tries to get a correct bill.Sorry Apricot Tree. Your kitchen could not cope with the number of customers there.

Pasta dishes were ok, nothing spectacular to rave about. Really disappointed with their toffee pudding. It was so dry that it seems that it was over-microwaved. Service was good and friendly though thatâs why Iâm giving it a 3 rating. If it wasnât for the service, I probably would have given a 2 rating. Will we return? Unfortunately, no.
