.The Swan Salford is an attractive Edwardian pub in a lovely village setting, 10 minutes from central Milton Keynes and just 1 mile from junction 13 of the M1. Itâs perfect for a drink after work and as somewhere to meet, eat and drink with friends. The S
We visited The Swan earlier in September and were expecting something special. I must say that the service and atmosphere were excellent. Our main courses were good although a little pricey, which I can forgive as they sell draught Estrella lager! What is unforgivable was the £6.50 Pavlova dessert with TINNED strawberries. Totally ruined the whole experience.Good afternoon John, Thank you for your comments and I have passed on the compliments on service to the rest of the team. I can assure you we do not, and will never, use canned strawberries. We macerate fresh British strawberries with sugar and mint to make our pavlova. This is what draws out their sweetness and juices that create the syrup for the dish. We are very proud to say that our food is all fresh, we use as many local suppliers as possible & our menus are written using seasonal produce.Hoping to see you again,Lianne

We have had a really good experience with another one of this chain so felt we could have a good lunch whilst shopping in Central Milton Keynes.Arriving just after 12 noon, and were shown to one of the booths just outside of the main entrance to the restaurant, it took some time to get a menu, and a gluten free one. We were told that the manager would return to take the order as the allergy to Black Pepper, and we waited for some time for the drinks. After ordering the wait continued for some time, we were getting restless! The food arrived and my starter which was Bruschetta, the toast we stone cold. We advised the staff who checked and started again the second time was little better.Food was not great but to take over 90 minutes for a two course lunch which was two salads, and one meringue dessert.Staff were apologetic, and explained that their was only one chef and he was new. We donât mind this if we had been told that here may be a delay because of staff issues, we could have made a decision on whether or not to wait.Really a disappointing experience and we will not be returning.Hi Barry B, we are very sorry you had a bad experience with us, and would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. Hope to see you again, Dorota

We had a late evening dinner here after a long drive, we were made to feel welcome & staff were very attentive. Each course was served hot & in good time. The risotto was particularly delicious. I would highly recommend & would return. Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed it and look forward to your next visit.

Authentic Italian restaurant serving fresh food at lunch & dinner situated on Stony Stratford's famous & beautiful High Street
OMG I can safely say that tonight was the worst experience ever, I can only assume looking at the positive reviews that we just turned up on a bad night, we waited 50 minutes for stodgy and burnt starters, at that point we just up sticks and left, I should have taken a photograph on the sorry excuses of starters but I was so angry I just wanted to leave, I did tell the "head waiter" that his food was not nice, he disagreed and to be honest so did I, as it wasn't even that good, he gesticulated to a busy restaurant and said these people don't think so, like I say maybe I just turned up on a bad night, they most certainly wont be getting a second bite of my wallet, there are far better restaurants serving way better food than this,

We have had a wonderful refurbishment and our little bit of France in Milton Keynes is more stylish and more welcoming than ever. We are open for breakfast daily - sit at our 'kitchen table' with friends, our cafe area & read the papers or in the main bra
This was our 2nd visit, the food, staff and service was fantastic. We couldn't decide on the mains so opted for 3! The Pork Belly was out of this world, well done! We will most definitely be back soon...hopefully before Christmas. Staff are very polite and service is brilliant. Small casual French inspired dining spot serving delicious French cuisine, sweet and savoury crepes, filled baguettes and other French produce, as well as wines, beers, champagne and cocktails.
The food was fantastic on our romantic night out, set in a cosy small restaurant that used to be Cameron's which we're also loved. Service was brilliant, at least until later in the evening when it appeared Peter Griffin turned up as a waiter...Couldn't recommend highly enough, reasonable prices for quality food, drinks and service. Well done French Affair stony Stratford is lucky to have you.

The richness of Italian cuisine is found only at the Greedy Italian. We create good honest and simple food which is diverse and bursting with flavour. Our cuisine remains faithful to its traditional Italian heritage but with a modern perspective. Our chef
Love this Italian. Love the atmosphere, enjoy the service, and the food is brilliant. I did prefer how the calamari used to be presented in circles rather than in small bits. Hopefully they can go back to this. I wouldnt certainly recommend booking as each time I have been it has been very busy. Will be back here again soon!

Pasha, leaders in authentic Turkish Mediterranean cuisine served the authentic way. Fresh, healthy and packed full of flavour offering Milton Keynes dishes bought to you in whole new & unique way. Afterall we all need some Pasha in our lives!
Complete shock, this is a real hidden jem in MK. Had dinner here last night, had a wonderful experience. The food was authentic and the staff very polite and efficient. I would order the kebabs which were juicy and succulent, not too spicy. Best restaurant in MK, with easy parking in the back.Thank you for leaving us such an amazing review of your Pasha dining experience with us, an absolute pleasure to have you join us. Itâs a shame we are not in the centre as we donât enjoy the footfall others have but then thatâs when you benefit from enjoying the quality..See you again soon! :)

Portuguese food at its best! Most of the dishes made on a charcoal grill. Your mouth will water and you will become a regular, don't delay the inevitable. House of Chicken Official opening date:12 of February 2016. Book Now Your Table.
Iâve seen House of Chicken highly rated on TripAdvisor before so gave it a go today for lunch. Like other reviews on here, donât judge a book by itâs cover. Even at lunchtime there was a good atmosphere with a buzz in the air. Service was very, very friendly helping me choose as it was my first time. Food didnât come immediately which is good as it shows they were cooking it rather than trying to microwave a frozen dish. This is why I avoid the food chains now. I had the sandwich, and trust me, itâs great, you will never have eaten a sandwich like this before. Try House of Chicken, Iâm sure you wonât be disappointed. Straight forward grilled meat, lovely friendly service and good value. Iâll eat there again.

This is not the first time we have lunched here, nor the first trip advisor review. Atmosphere, staff, service and most of all, food is phenomenal. Recommend mussels, spicy king prawns, meat mixed grill and baklava. Beautiful.
