Things to do in Midrand
While proudly South African, Nando's is an international flame-grilling, PERi-PERi chicken restaurant group We offer a twist of Afro-Portuguese with an upmarket and comfortable dining experience The first Nando's was opened in 1987 in Johannesburg, South
It's quite sad because I used to love Nandos, but the last the meals were slightly disappointing. The store is clean and well organized, the staff are friendly and attentive, but the quality is just not there anymore. Come on Nandos, you can do better
I ordered one of the specials which was fairly well priced. The restaurant was nice, neat and clean. The service was excellent. The food was a bit plain, the chips looked like it was someone else's left overs, and the additional Portuguese roll that I ordered was dry and a bit hard.

In my own opinion there is nothing really special about this Nando's branch, its location probably has a lot to do with this, feels very cramped there with not enough room, however like every Nando's the food is brilliant and flame GRILLED and staff very friendly and fast.

An authentic Italian restaurant, where delicious homemade food is served in a romantic country setting and also an idyllic venue to host your special event in unforgettable Italian style Vegan options available
I attended my god child 21st here. The food was exceptional and service by staff was brilliant. The whole venue offering was spectacular and for such a large number of guests the food came on time. Great venue for this kind of party or wedding. There are multiple halls on site with one main bar servicing the halls. Bev Moore
Peri-Peri chicken restaurant with a world famous Portuguese style menu. Visit Nandoâs in Kyalami for a truly South African dining experience.
Every Nandos branch has its own signature stamped. I feel that the Kyalami branch of Nandos is outstanding with excellent service, prompt assistance, polite staff and good value. Certainly one of the better Nandos outlets around.
We decided to try the Ponta restaurant over Easter for lunch and I have to say we were extremely disappointed. The service was rotten even though they seem well staffed and the food was not anything a Portuguese establishment should put on tables. I had a simple prego, the Portuguese roll was squashed and there was a thick, dry and overcooked piece of steak slapped onto it, do Not try a prego without something to drink close by as this sucker is dry! I drowned it in sauce just to get through it. My wife had a chicken and prawn combo and this too was average at best. The prawns were overcooked, but the chicken was quite nice. The best thing at this restaurant is their peri peri sauce which is full of flavor.

This is an untouched restaurant & bar in the middle of Midrand, just off Allandale road, by Kyalami Hills, The food covers the best Swiss (Austro-German) home-cooking that will leave you very satisfied. The bar is small but very friendly with the regulars, and to find a place like this with such a wonderful beer garden in Johannesburg is unusual these days to say the least.Separate conference rooms are available for functions, and the restaurant can be reserved for private functions too.Traditional Swiss skittles indoors, petangue outdoors as well as darts offers some distraction.Definitely recommended, certainly for work functions during the week that can enjoy top quality food at a good priceIf you fancy a weekday out with your team, or company this is well worth a stop.

The menu is super. Different and varied. The decor is nice. Prices are quite high but that's ok, this is the mall of Africa and this is a good restaurant right? So wrong. That's about the only positives I have to say. Our drinks order had to be followed up on twice. The staff were disorganized and seemingly untrained. Tge cleaner was sweeping the floor and then mopping around the tables. .....it was around 2pm. The seafood tapas were ok. Nothing special although nicely presented. As for the Poke Bowl. What a mistake. Drowned by balsamic vinegar the flavors of sesame and soy were impossible to detect. The roughly chunked bites of seared beef were over cooked and the marinade had turned them into a rather odd colour. The kimchi was simply very sour pickled cabbage which, in addition to the balsamic really made the dish most unpleasant. The manager on duty was more interested in gesticulating to his staff including the sweeping lady who then brought out the mop instead of the broom. The smell of cleaning fluid was pretty grim. His attention to the clientele seemed pretty scant. Plates cleared were stacked on top of each other with food squashed. Cutlery slipping and sliding and no amount of care. When it came to paying we would still be there if I hadn't chased up the cc machine. We wont be back.Hi Thank you for taking the time to advise of your recent visit to Life Grand Cafe Mall of Africa,I am very disappointed to read of your underwhelming experience with us. Casa Bella Mall of Africa is an authentic Italian restaurant that serves Woodfired Pizza, Pasta, and Grills with the best, fresh homemade ingredients.
Went here for a meal with my wife and it was such a great experience. It was a Sunday afternoon and we we decided to return to this restaurant after have a good meal here a few months ago. Our waitress was top notch. She was attentive but not obtrusive. Our starters and meals were perfect. We had the calamari starter which is one of the best I have had. The buffalo mozzarella pizza is also really good (but we did wonder if it was real buffalo mozzarella)The Florentine steak is also a winner and I would recommend it to any meat lover. Hey have a very decent wine list as well. And the desserts are delicious. Would recommend Will definitely returnHi Vanman,Grazie for the fantastico review of our family restaurant. We are thrilled to know you and your wife enjoyed your recent dining experience with us and the Casa Bella family. We hope you have many more five-star experiences with us.Kind regards,Casa Bella
