A truly superb place. Very traditional Spanish ambience and interior. A family run business and run very well indeed. One of the starters, Rabo Ravioli, wow. An succulent and smoky steak with very crunchy chips. A good bottle of marques de carceres to drink. The service was friendly and efficient. One of the best restaurants I've been to.

As the name suggests, the terraces offer magnificents views over a patchwork of undulating tiled roofs and church spires to the rural splendour of rolling hills â fringed by the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day you can even see the Rif Mountains of Morocco
The view is spectacular although we had to eat in as a gale was blowing. Prompt and slick service. Had a shared sardine starter - for â¬8 a little pricey perhaps for 2 slices of toasted bread with a small salad garnish - although the fish was succulent. The mains of albondigas and chicken breasts were certainly tasty and came with stunning chips. By Spanish standards portions were on the light side and with a bottle of water the total bil of â¬32 not cheap for what we had. In summary pleasant meal In a lovely - spot but probably pay a bit extra for the view!

We saw a special gourmet 4 course meal offered in the local press to celebrate the Spanish Hispaniola holiday. It was a pleasant drive from Cadiz and we found the Berrueco easily enough. The tables were attractively laid and we had an excellent local craft beer while we waited to be served. A basket of superb local bread accompanied our first course which was a generous prawn cocktail with the sauce served separately. Excellent! This was followed by an interesting experiment in Avocado/cheese. The main course was stuffed small squid which we enjoyed. Dessert was a flan followed by excellent coffee. The owner lives on the premises and only needs a day to put together the meal of your choice for small or large groups. I will be back! Thanks John for your words and recomendación. See you soon Amalia
