We ate a specialty lunch here as part of a shore excursion from our cruise. This is an amazing location surrounded by massive rocks and the food was excellent. We had appetizers, main course, wine, and dessert served by the wonderful staff. This place also has a spa and luxury sleeping accommodations. What a great place in the middle of Provence, FranceDear Kathy P,Many thanks to take the time to post your opinion, we are thankful for that. With Kind Regards,

We've eaten here a couple of times as a couple in the evening and yesterday we went for lunch with our daughter and her two friends. Because of the weather we booked to eat inside but when we got there we didn't realise the 'Fete de la Maussane' was on and the atmosphere was great so we decided to take a chance on the weather and eat outside. We had the mussels, crab spring rolls and salade nicoise as starters followed by the St Jacques (specials menu), moules a la creme and marmite du pecheur (see photos) as a main course followed by a couple of desserts. We will be going back ;-)The service was excellent as per the previous occasions - very friendly staff.and found the food to be very good. The staff were very professional

Been here few times before and always wonderful. Last nights meal inside as weather wet, as always fabulous food, atmosphere great and friendly staff. Tuesday is chicken - my friend said it was the best she had ever had. Vegetarian option looked good too. Cheese board never disappoints. Looking forward to my next visit

Nine of us dined her for lunch in late May. We were seated in a lovely outdoor patio with umbrellas shielding us from the sun. Assorted plants included baby artichokes, a plate of sliced ham, and smoked salmon. Entrees included rack of lamb which needed to be ordered by two people, red mullet, and rabbit. The food was excellent as was the service. The restaurant is a short drive from Arles and well worth the effort to get there. Highly recommended.

Served with grace despite a somewhat belated arrival for a late meal, I was delighted with the delicious and beautifully plated food. I began with ricotta with jambon and greens, and followed that with pork tournedos served with a balsamic / onion sauce, shredded vegetables, and potatoes. Delicious!

We had my motherâs birthday party at Franckâs place. Fish soup was excellent and the lamb and beans too. A special birthday cake (aux 3 chocolats) was produced ex nihilo during the meal, the restaurant didnât know it was a birthday party when we arrived. We had lunch in the wine cellar which created a feel good atmosphere. Food is superb, staff very friendly and helpful, the only attention point is that staff was a bit to eager to sell that extra bottle of wine, which we did not refuse but did not really need...

Visited September 2018 for dinner. The welcome was ok, the food was good but simple and lacking a real Provencal touch. Tuna tartare, artichoke tart and beef filet. Ate better at Tata Simone the day before - much better in fact.Service was ok, but lacking provencal warmth and empathy. The chef has big poster in the courtyard, stating his qualifications. It would be nicer to have him visit the client tables after their meal.CP & CP Family

The service was slow, no two ways about it. On arrival many seated diners but very little food in evidence. The menu is limited and confused. Starters of foie gras included soup, ice cream and creme broullee. The broullee was more scrambled eggs than creme. Personally I would have preferred some foie gras and maybe some toasts. After an interminable wait the main course meats were good, although why veal requires curry sauce or beef bbq sauce is perhaps a sign of an insecure chef trying too hard. The veal was requested pink but served medium. Dessert was OK but no idea what it was. The waitress spilled my coffee in my lap and it took three attempts to get the bill. Overall, my lasting impression is how few customers were smiling, and how many seemed frustrated by the inattentive service.

In a valley neat Les Baux, this newly renovated and adapted hotel on the base of an old farmstead there is receiving its guests in very well equipped and spacious rooms with nice views of the valley and the surrounding rocks. Comfortable rooms with nice bathrooms. Perfect service. Large outside pool. Gravel on all ways from parking to and between the buildings makes the transport of baggage a bit difficult and the baggage and trousers dirty.Excellent restaurant with food in Michelin-starred quality. Excellent regional wine list, perfect service. Not cheap, but really worth the stay, best for more than just one night as we had.Dear Georggoetzelmann,Thank you very much for such a nice review about your experience at Benvengudo. We are delighted to read that you appreciated your dinner, the wine list and the service. Firstly I should say that I ordered the melon salad and that was delicious (a huge portion also). Unfortunately my partners two courses were not so enjoyable; the courgette flowers were stuffed with cheese and drowned in a rich sauce that suppressed their delicate flavour, and the lamb chops were grisly and chewy. It is such a shame that we didn't both enjoy our meal here as we had such high hopes. Whilst I didn't try the rhum baba I have to say it looked delicious and so I would certainly consider returning here for the salad again and/or dessert. We would highly recommend the Cafe du Progres across the street for their food just be aware that it is more cafe-ish that restauranty over there.
