Stayed for 1 night only but happy with service and place itself. Cosy, clean and convenient. Food very tasty, breakfast humble but sufficient and fresh. We have visited several times already and it only gets better. Rather exception. Highly recommended.

We visited Burger Pub based on friends recommendation. They have good selection of burgers and I was surprised how tasty they are. It is small family pub/restaurant and it is visible how good they look after their customers. They also offer good local beer.If you are in this region It is realy worth poping in.

This is the third time we stay at MartInn and hotel restaurant is always something we are looking forward to. Food was very good (we mostly ate salads & vegetarian meals) and waiters were nice & helpful. Well, it most likely won't get a Michelin star :-), but I think it is comparable to better-than-standard restaurants I ate at.

We were visiting the folk museum (skansen) in Martin but chose to stay in Bystricka, just a short distance from Martin itself, which was not an attractive city. We loved the Hotel Bystricka. It is situated in a quiet village but on its main road so easy to find. The accommodations were very comfortable; the meals at the Pate Restaurant were surprisingly good. (Everything except wine by the glass; do order a bottle unless you like thin wine.) The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Massage was available at a reasonable price. The only discordant note was that music played in the courtyard until 10:00 pm at night. It is such a classy hotel that it seemed strange to have loud music ever present just outside our window. There is a nice seating area and patio dining area in the courtyard. We had lunch there and enjoyed the outdoors. Also, for walkers, it's easy to walk in the village. And, if you go up to Lipsky, the next village, there are marked trails on the road to the mountains. We walked up to the village (25 minutes), but there was a trail that could go 40 minutes or a couple of hours at the top of the road. We also walked along the field in back of the hotel. It's nice to stretch one's legs after driving. There is a small grocery store a couple of blocks from the hotel. The folk museum is well worth a visit. It's nestled in a forest at the edge of Martin.

Went to Pasaz today for lunch. We got our drinks after about 10 min, which is okay. But the food didn't arrive for some 40 minutes. I ordered one of their specialities, the Pasaz burger, and it was cold, luke-warm at most in the middle. The bun was crispy and nice, though. And the home-made fries were delicious.

Martins hippest spot, one of the few that has truely understood that the atmosphere in a cafe/pub matters! And the bartenders offer some pretty decent coctails! Poor selection of beers however, and they never seem to have enough cold beer on stock. But their G&T is top notch âï¸and the service is usually on point.

Veľmi prÃjemná reÅ¡taurácia s najlepÅ¡ou pizzou Å¡iroko - Äaleko, veľkým výberom vÃn a veľmi ochotným personálom. I can definitely recommend for best pizza I ever had in Slovakia, quality service and nice atmosfere. Will return for sure more times to try also other dishes and pizzas âº

Visited several times - always great. Interesting ambiance, great food, friendly service, slightly on expensive side, but food is well worth it. Huge portions, even famished carnivore husbands will leave this place satisfied :) Even late night take out food is amazing. Can recommend it very much.

Absolutely amazing. That is how you can describe this bistro located in Martin. Plantaz is the only far&near place where you can find pure vegan options for various foods. My personal recommendation is burger with fries and mayo. Made with all-vegan ingredients, it was very fresh and tasty. If you have a sweet tooth, you would definitely enjoy different cakes served here. Staff at the bistro was very friendly, chefs are even happy to reveal their great recipes. 5 Stars.
