I've never had food here but I will make sure I try it next time I visit. In terms of a place to have a few drinks, it's one of the nicest bars I've been to in Leipzig. The decor is great, it's quite cozy and the service is excellent. There's something very welcoming and appealing about this bar.

Classic Irish Pub. About 15 kinds of beer on tap, selection of whiskies and other liquors, great music, amazing food at a great value. Shepherd's Pie was delicious, likewise Ratatouille. We enjoyed celebrating at Killiwilly's a lot. Staff very hospitable and courteous!

This is a classy French-style brasserie which has a beautiful interior and long opening hours and friendly, efficient staff. We came just after 8am for breakfast and it was already becoming busy. It is very popular both with locals and tourists alike. The locals sit out on the pavements day and night! You probably should book for lunch or dinner or if a large group. The choice for breakfast is amazing, but you can simply have a croissant, jam, butter and a coffee for â¬6.80. They do lovely omelettes. It is a bit pricey but we felt it was well worth it. It is open from 8am until midnight Monday to Friday, and 9am until midnight on Saturday and Sunday.

We went to this restaurant based on TA ratings, as well as handiness to our apartment (Apartments Central Leipzig - Highly Recommended!). Frankly, it was somewhat of a disappointment. In retrospect, reading the reviews for this place, it looks like it makes its name based on the bar, not necessarily the food. Not that the food was that bad; but the difference in portion size for two entrees of similar price was profound. My entrée, the special, was so large I could hardly finish it without feeling overstuffed. On the other hand, my wife's chicken was very flavourful, but in any other restaurant would be considered a small appetizer. Trendy it is, and if that's your thing, have at it. We won't be back. I will say that the service was friendly, but for the price we paid, and given the smaller entrée, there are better alternatives to be had.Hi Larry and thanks for your Feedback.Hope to see you soon again, to see whats working better

Zum Rosengarten is a family owned Restaurant in Lössnig, south of Leipzig. It has an all-year flair that invites you to a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is located in a quiet and green suburban area, easily reachable both by tram and by car. The terrace is a perfect place to enjoy a drink or a light meal during the summer, whereas the interior is of more elegant nature, suitable for occasions such as romantic dinners and various celebrations. The food is exquisite, ranging from typical german cuisine to various european dishes, and the wine selection is outstanding, including some exquisite Rhine-Hessian brands. Prices range from normal to mildly expensive, but the atmosphere and the food is well worth it.

The seven course meal was well balanced with an appropriate wine for each part of the meal. The service was excellent and the meal well paced.Unfortunately, the ambience was spoilt by loud music being played in a nearby club.

The location of this restaurant is what drew us to try it out. Located on the water just a few hundred meters from Markkleeberg Beach, we where surprised to find the quality of the food as good as its picturesque setting. As we were seated we where greeted with a Fennel Orange soup to warm up the taste buds. Following we had the "Antipasti" a selection of freshly made Italian Antipasti, the "Rösti Lax" a Potato Scollop served with home made smoked salmon. For the mains we had the "Poulet" - Chicken, served with Gnocchi in a Salbei Sauce with a Grape Confit. A fantastic combination! Great wine selection, great food, great location and very reasonable prices. We'll be back!

Upbeat atmosphere created by a well travelled Australian Chef. The music just a little louder than normal & this all helps to make the B10 a little more "Big City" than most. Real food with out the foo foo! Eclectic Menu with daily changing specials. We d
Title says it all. Very well run establishment. Australian owner and operator. Busy. I ate at the bar, solo, a vege curry on the specials menu. Cost 14e from memory. The food quality is a level or two above the usual fair in Leipzig, but not much more expensive. Upmarket crowd, but not stuffy. It's VERY social, even if come solo. I ended up having good/long conversations with patrons and staff. They have a different (and I think) better offering than its peers in Leipzig. Looking fw to going back and trying their FISH OF THE DAY. Has outdoor seating for smokers.

One of Leipzigâs landmarks is the Bayerischer Bahnhof. It was built in 1842 and is the oldest preserved head rail station in the world. It was the regionâs busiest hub for tradesmen and travellers.Today, the Bayerischer Bahnhof is famous for its hospitali
The best thing about this restaurant is its setting: the dining room and the beer garden was excellent, as was the service. Unfortunately there appears to be little competition in the way of German places to eat in Leipzig and the food, whilst being acceptable, is not great.

Fine dining with seasonal French cuisine and hand-picked French wines in a tastefully appointed and relaxed ambiance. The three-monthly changing menu comprises classic as well as modern dishes.
Wow. I have to add to the accolades. My hubby and I visited for my birthday dinner, and this restaurant surpassed all our expectations in every way possible. The staff was warm, knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. The food was incredible and the wine pairings perfect (we had 3 courses with wine). The origins and history of the various wines were fully explained to us with every glass. We were treated to additional courses and wine throughout. I am somewhat of a foodie and also appreciate good wine, and I have never had such a delightful experience. We were totally pampered the entire time. This restaurant is such a gem! I highly recommend it!
