Wir waren 4 Naechte im Gaestehaus und koennen nur sagen, dass wir rundherum zufrieden waren. Modern, sauber, geraeumige Zimmer, in denen nichts fehlte, ein sehr ordentliches Fruehstueck und hohe Schlafqualitaet: voellige Ruhe im Gruenen, obwohl das Restaurant/Gaestehaus/Festsaal/Café direkt der Kirche gegenueber lag. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Schlafstaetten im Emsland war die Kneipe auch nach 22.00h noch geoeffnet und erlaubte einem, ein leckeres frisches Bier als Absacker zu trinken.Ein sehr angenehmer Ort in einem gepflegten kleinen Dorf mit ueberaus maessigen Preisen (Wir nannten sie Vorkriegspreise: ein Korn fuer Euro 0,90: wo findet man den noch?): Wirklich empfehlenswert und wir werden bei unserem naechsten Aufenthalt im Emsland ganz bestimmt darauf zurueckkommen.

Nothing fancy but ok and somewhat tasty. The menu selection probably has more than 100 foods to select from and that is not always an indicator of good and tasty food, and that was also the case here. The food was ok and tasted ok. But it was very bland and not very tasty. Good service and friendly atmosphere.

Leider standen wir heute zum dritten Mal vor verschlossener Tür. Zur Mittagszeit wird wohl nur noch nach Belieben geöffnet. Schade. Ein weiteres Mal werden wir ganz sicher nicht enttäuscht - da wir mittags nur noch woanders hingehen werden.

Absolutely a good choice fore those who like to try something others. The restaurant has a very good concept which means there have a fix amount of a certain dish and there change to another dish if the there is sold out. Which means, there change the menu card on a regular base depend on the demand. Fantastic! The dishes are always fresh and deliscious and fare away from standard. The restaurant is like a sunshine on a cloudy restaurant sky.

We found this restaurant close to our Apparthouse Lingen where we stayed for three nights. Our dinner was delicious enough after long drive through Poland and Germany. We were fond of meat in Balkan style and local beer.
