Delices Caraibes

We ate here for lunch the last day we were in Ste. Anne. It was the best meal that we had and were sorry we weren't able to come back. Most places have a decent main meat/fish component but the appetizers, side dishes, etc. are mediocre. Not at this place. They brought bread with a bit of a fishy, delicious butter soon after we sad down. The avocado/shrimp salad was also delicious. I had the shrimp in coconut sauce and they were large and fresh. The prices here are not higher than the other places we went to in downtown Ste. Anne; actually that is one of the things we found a bit odd in Martinique, prices didn't seem to vary much from restaurant to restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful even when we told her that we (by that I mean my boyfriend) had forgot to bring enough money so we had to keep everything under the 40 euros I brought with me.

This is such a lovely quiet spot to enjoy oyster and wine with your significant other. Thank you to the gentleman and lady, I think they are the owners, who helped us navigate through the menu written in French. A must visit when in Le Marin.

Good food, but you'll pay the priceIf you like meat, you'll definitely be happy here. Also good for a drink at the bar.Two remarks: wifi is unreliable. And if the weather is unstable, you might consider coming back another time. The terrace offers little chelter in a good gust.I rate average because for this price, they could do just that little bit more

Le Belem

This restaurant at the over-rated Le Cap Est is perhaps the biggest disappointment on the island. The restaurant is understaffed. There are not enough menus. After the first 3 tables are seated, you have to wait at least 1/2 hour to be seated. Then you wait again for a menu (another 1/2 hour). The appetizer takes approximately 45 minutes, then the entree another 45 minutes. This is not leisurely dining. This is just disgraceful. The staff just seem overwhelmed and really don't care. This is not a one time experience. I was held captive at the hotel for 4 meals. It never got any better. For the prices that are charged, it should be a gourmet dining experience with stellar service. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT.

Case Coco Restaurant

We had tried for a few days and case coco was closed so we were so happy when it was open Wednesday evening. White wood bright furniture, open, pretty, and pretty part hidden from the street . The food was fabulous ! Lobster with a butter vanilla sauce and herb sauce too . Tuna breaded and sautéed with eggplant and tapenade . All flavors delicious ! We ended with a strawberry soup with lime sherbet on top for dessert. Definitely you will not be disappointed here !

This is our third trip back to Ti Toques. Lovely lunch spot opposite yacht moorage along main waterfront road in La Marin. Would have enjoyed an updated menu (think it hasn't changed in a year) but the Marlin Tartare was excellent and the drinks tasty. The little hand made "frill" (grape on toothpick with a green branch made into a flower) is lovely and it always comes home with me. Wish I could take the St. James metal box the bill is served in...have asked if for sale...no. Awwww

Vastly overrated restaurant. Inattentive staff and very presumptuous manager. If you have a cheese allergy and you order a “magret de canard” burger without cheese then you expect it to be served that way. However, the “burger” was duly served with cheese, then served again with part of the cheese scraped off. Appalling attitude from both the kitchen and the waitress. Eventually the manager replaced the dish with one barely cooked. The ultimate comment from her was that I was a customer who would never be happy with their food. The notion that the customer is always right must be alien to them.Extremely expensive restaurant, appalling standards and awful attitude. How wicked of you!You came to lunch on January 1st, New Year’s Eve, the restaurant is full, you make a confusion between a duck breast and a duck burger that you are served naturally with cheese. You tell us to be cheesy and we’ll have a new burger without cheese. And six months later, you publish such a comment. You have nothing else to do in your life?

I cannot fault the meal we ate at K`Bana.........a decent menu choice, well presented and fairly priced. However, I would advise booking earlier rather than later in the evening. We ate at 19.30...........the two waitresses worked absolutely flat out,and most competently although by the end of our meal ,they appeared to be just starting to fail to cope with customer demands from the full restaurant. (maybe one extra member of staff could be employed?)

We LOVED eating here - so much so that I broke my primary rule when traveling and I went back a 2nd time. The service was good, the English menu was accurately descriptive, and the food was simply fantastic. Be it the ribs, the duck breast, salad, or cheese plate, everything was superb. I've had meals that cost twice as much and are half as good at well-respected restaurants home in the USA. And as a traveler who prefers to eat vegetarian, I was ecstatic to have multiple meat-free options.Be warned - Google Maps will lead you astray. Get directions ahead of time and if you see cows you are going the wrong way!
