Have visited this restaurant for several years and have never been disappointed. The guys who run this take huge pride in their food and service. The changes in menu are gradual and progressive. Old favourites linger. It is one of the few places where I eat the dessert. They have this fascinating, unique trilogy where you choose 3 items from a selection of about 9/10 items. I love it. Sometimes I can choose cherries (cerises) au kirsch. Just wonderful!!

Really beautiful restaurant and bar, with a fashion and chic decoration, with nice welcome from the team and the boss with his wife. On week-end, there is a DJ on the bar upstairs and it can become fun, with people who dance and drink. The food is good and pretty cheap (compare to the decoration and service), but it is not a gastronomic restaurant and it is not as fine as the Nossy Be (but it is not done for that). I really recommend this place for quality, service and fun.Thank you so much for your review.Warmly

In general we try eating at establishments away from the restaurant attached to a hotel. However in May in La Baule there are not too many choices as the restaurants are mostly closed. We therefore ate at Le Ruban Bleu attached to Mercure Majestic Hotel. I must say we were pleasantly surprised as the food was of good quality, fresh and well presented. The restaurant naturally specialises in sea food and fish and the salmon was excellent. Compared to the outside restaurant the price was very reasonable.

Strange experience. A very nice place and food was also tasty and well presented .However, when the fire alarm went off for around 15/20 minutes and no-one bothered to come with any sort of explanation things started to go downhill. Although others (presumably hotel guests) were served with no problem ,we waited ages for every course to appear, two things that took the gloss off what could have been an enjoyable evening

On a windy day in April we were surprised and pleased with a lunch of fish of the day and a plate of fresh langoustines.,together with a shared pudding . Pichet wine was well priced and the service was efficient. Well placed on the quayside.

Great in all respects, the meal was excellent, from the amuse bouche to the final petits fours. Special mention to the Miel de Briere starter. Service is very good and the setting is nice too. Highly recommend! The dishes are elegant and inventive and absolutely delicious, with very fresh ingredients grown on site. The desserts are to die for. I got the salted caramel tiramisu, which was amazing, and my daughter loved the chocolate cheesecake with Mars bars in it, which I think is the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. The 3-course dinner is great value at 23 Euros for such fine quality (probably would be twice that in the US). The restaurant is situated in the middle of the salt flats so it has a really cool location. The building was formerly used to store salt from the flats, so there are some interesting architectural details dating to that usage. The owner has created a wonderful vegetable garden all around the property with exotic varieties of tomatoes, eggplant, etc. that is fed with compost created by scraps from the restaurant, so the whole venture is very eco-friendly. The outdoor terrace is very nice with some exotic plants. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. If we’re in the area again, we will definitely return!

Nice quick service with good local food for a reasonable price despite a lot of customers. Fresh fish was well cooked

The fantastic location was the driving force behind eating here, my daughter insisted we have one beachfront meal! I was pleasantly surprised at the good staff and quality food as the whole set up looked a bit formulaic. I had the biggest burger I ever seen in my life!!
