Not that there are a lot of choices in town (lol, teeny town) but Iâd have driven to come here. Beautiful food, lovely setting and atmosphere, good service, nice location for a walk (and it looked like the Fontana next door would have been wonderful for a dip in the springs). Pricey but thatâs standard in Iceland, at least as far as we experienced. Great choice.

By far one of the best experiences of my entire trip was my stay at this hostel. The food every single day was perfect. We loved the different options each morning for breakfast and every lunch/dinner over exceeded our expectations. I will definitely come back to visit this amazing staff and place again one day!Dear Andrea !Thank you so much for such a beautiful review. We really appreciate it and hopefully we get the change to welcome you again here in the nearby future.Best regards

Great find as we were searching for our cottage , the gentlemen was so helpful with directions. A small little cafe with offering sweet delights and hot and cold beverages plus . We found our cottage and during our trip to the Fontana spa we decided to stop and have our lunch at Galleri Laugarvatn . We thanked the owner again for his directions and ordered lunch . I had the cauliflower soup with the freshly baked Rye âHot Springâ bread, it was utterly delicious ! A cappuccino and a shared cookie with plenty of spring water . My partner had the Rye bread with the smoked trout from the lake and said it was Fantastic! If your going by this way please stop in , itâs a hidden gem!!

After spending time at the spa, we went to the cafe to grab something warm to eat before boarding our tour bus. What a nice place this was! Instead of having very expensive, substandard items to soak the tourists, they offered delicious fare at a reasonable price. Whether you want coffee, tea, soup, a sandwich, or have time for a real meal, you won't be let down.
