The YACHT CLUB is not another dining area but another philosophy that the visitor wants to enjoy the hospitality, quality, Greek gastronomy with locally sourced ingredients, special tastes, better wines, but also typical wines from all over Greece, exquis
A nice bar on the Lixouri waterfront with an indoor section, an outdoor area next to the water and an upstairs area serving food. The staff, in common with almost everyone on Kefalonia, are very friendly and the drinks and snacks are decent value considering the location.

Fury, anger, rage and hypertension. All of these describe the array of emotions (and likely medical issues) that the manager of this establishment displayed whilst myself and my fiancée ate here.In some sort of sadistic way I enjoyed watching the torment that the manager was wrangling and the contempt with which he treated his customers (ourselves included). 30 minute waits for an incorrect drinks order and even longer for the food were benign issues in comparison to the dismissive, rude and obnoxious manner we were subjected to.Fortunately the long waits were not without entertainment. Disagreements between the manager and the only other member of staff âfront of houseâ were in full view of the entire restaurant. It was all quite gripping. Watching the manager was akin to an Icelandic geyser constantly simmering with periodic eruptions. There were times I wondered if he would make it to the end of the service. I had visions of a clash of crockery signifying a premature end and his mental breakdown. The food - tasty, fresh and enjoyable. Deserving of a much greater rating than one star.In summary if you wish to wait somewhere for a considerable length of time for nourishment and hydration whilst being verbally battered and watching colleagues be on the receiving end of the same then this is the place for you. Sit back, enjoy the âin-houseâ entertainment, sip your 7euro beer (as youâll be there for several hours if you wish 2 rounds of drinks) and relax...

This welcome watering-hole is half-way along the Fanari coastal road from Argostoli to Lassi. The road offers flat walking of about 5 kms and this bar/restaurant at Katavothes offers a nice spot to take a break and tour of this site, where an extraordinary geological phenomenon occurs, the sea vanishes! Where it reappears is for you to find out!

Greek restaurant at Lassi, near Argostoli. Authentic Greek cuisine and original Greek nights with dances and plate smashing. Warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal for large groups and families. Open from early in the morning for breakfast till late at night
10 years ago for the first time my family holidayed in Greece (Lassi) and the very first Greek restaurant we ate in was Zorbaâs and we were blown away by Zorbaâs and Greece and have never looked back . Since then we have visited many different Greek islands and resorts much to our pleasure. So this year we thought weâd re visit Lassi 10 years on and where else to start the holiday meals but in Zorbaâs where it all began. I have to admit I like to check out on trip advisor which restaurants are favourites so I can try the good ones out and I was dismayed to see how far Zorbaâs had slipped down the list, but after our flight and unpacking we really just wanted a restaurant close by with little fuss. The place was quiet but that was fine by us we ordered meat balls and stuffed pepper for starters both were absolutely delicious and as we wasnât too hungry we shared a pizza for a main which again was extremely tasty tag on a lovely bottle of wine and the meal was a success , if I remember right it only came to about 33 euros which is very good value. I thought we would only eat there once but we went back two more times both times we were very happy. So Iâm not sure why itâs so low on the list , itâs very busy on the entertainment nights and the opposite when there isnât but to be honest being dragged up to dance isnât my cup of tea so we liked the quiet nights , all I can think of to criticise is there isnât a lot of charisma or chat with the staff , the job gets done efficiently but maybe a bit of friendly banter wouldnât go amiss. So please donât dismiss dear old Zorbaâs give it a chance.

Hidden in a corner, very friendly staff and they know what they are doing. We ordered cuttlefish risotto and mushroom risotto. They were tasty but for my taste a bit salty. Our friend ordered mushroom risotto and lamb shank and they loved it. They had an amazing mix salad. They can suggest you wine. In general you shouldnât miss this place. P.S if only were not serving drinks with plastic straws.
