Of the highest standard. Food exceptional, sweets to die for. Service superb. Ambience excellent. This is really a true gem.

Have eaten here quite a few times in years past . On this visit the place somehow could not offer the quality of food we remembered. The impression given was rather sad as we genuinely enjoyed this establishment in the past but everything seemed tired and some form of life needed injecting. Could well be that we had just picked a bad night as can happen with any restaurant. Let us hope that on the next visit the whole atmosphere and quality have returned.

Brought my children and grandchildren here for their first time. My husband and I have visited many times and always enjoyed the fine dining both at lunch and dinner in beautiful surroundings and excellent service. We had a lovely afternoon and excellent tapas lunch in the garden until when serving coffee my daughter very politely pointed out the coffee she had been given was not what she had ordered. The attitude/response from the Maitre d and waitress was disgraceful, first there was an argument over a coffee which probably cost 5 euros when the customer had just spent over 500euros for the meal. This is not the sort of experience you would expect from a Michelin star restaurant. If we had of allowed it, it could have competely spoilt a beautiful family gathering. This will probably be our last visit, such a shame.

We ate dinner while staying overnight at the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed Phillipeâs culinary talents. Service was cheerful and attentive. Wine list is reasonably priced and good variety. My gazpacho and cod were perfectly prepared. My husband enjoyed mini raviolis with escargot, and calf. Superb. Setting is relaxed yet elegant.
The Saint Clar, piano-bar jazz Felted and cozy atmosphere. - Tea room - Cocktails and drinks - Dinner plates Proper dress required
This is a new restaurant that deserves to succeed. It is relaxed and comfortable with a pleasing ambience...The menu is limited but exceptional. The charcuterie and fromage plates were substantial and dessert very good indeed. There is also tasteful entertainment one or two evenings per week.Highly recommended.

This is a unique review; never have I chosen a venue before where once the carafe of water has been emptied one finds the inside covered with grime that clearly shows both a lack of cleaning goes on or adequate inspection before being offered to customers. The waiter's response was to pass it off as calcium deposits. Simply not true. Then the bread arrived and once it had been remove the black grease on the 'silver' bowl revealed itself in all its tarnished glory; enough to turn one's stomach and certainly enough to put off the eating of what appeared to be a nicely cooked meal of sea food; how could one safely eat such a dish having witnessed the lack of hygiene already displayed.I shall not return.

This place has the best position in town, at the top of the square. The menu can be limited at the wrong time of the evening, but the food is good.Worth more than one visit.

We ate here on a very wet July evening. We were a party of four adults and one baby, who the staff were happy to accommodate her.Set menu provided a good selection of options. Typical French cooking focusing on fish/meat (do not expect to get lots of sides of vegetables!)Well presented, tasty food in a lovely setting. Good selection of wines, including carafes. Great service. Easy parking. We would recommend.

We had two lunches here during the week. The cafe is centrally placed down the pedestrianised street in Lalinde. The food is excellent and we particularly enjoyed the vegetable quiche and the steak. The latter came with stuffed squash which made an excellent vegetable. The menu changes daily and is well worth trying.

We were recommended "The Holy Pig" by friends who live locally, and we were not disappointed. Every course from the fixed menu - there were 5 of them - was excellent with a full range of flavours to positively savour. Our final words regard the hosts who were both charming and provided the highest level of service, timing each course to perfection. All in all a fabulous meal at a great location with very friendly and excellent hosts.
