On Pico Island, Açores, a sweet "bistrô", by the Atlantic ocean, with São Jorge Island view. have a snack limpets, octopus, fresh cheese with a wonderful wine or dish of the day, local gastronomy. Open from June till September
There are so many wonderful things to say about this cliff restaurant. Paula(Owner) and her amazing cook put together unique, one of a kind, homemade dishes. Most of the items are grown locally or caught fresh from the sea.. it is seasonal and open from 12pm til 10pm daily June -August. It is a cozy place adjacent to a park with incredible ocean below.. Prices are reasonable for the amazing food and conversation.
We were staying in Prainha and this restaurant was in walking distance. The wine was great, as was the cheese we ordered. Try the Moroccan orange salad - delicious! I tried the chicken dish, it was ok. My husband had the tuna and it was good. Overall, would recommend if you are staying in Prainha. Service was great, the waitress was lovely.

Friendly staff. Great wine. Simple fare but cooked well. Quirky outside seats chained together (just for a coffee, no table) but in the sun. A local experience

Amazing food and the hostess is very observant and helpful. The portions are very generous and everything is unbelievably tasty. Again anytime

The restaurant is located on a hill overlooking the bay of Lajes with great view over the village, sea and surroundings. It specializes in catering bigger groups, with open buffet, but can also serve individual customers. It has been recently expanded and modernized, with some small local farming museum and wine shop added.Good local cheeses for starters, soups and local daily fishes are offered. Meats are very simple, can be skipped. All in all, simple, authentic local food.

Ate here twice for dinner. The food was better than expected based on other reviews. My wife had swordfish which was a very generous portion and well prepared I had pork which was very moist and nicely seasoned and tasty. And the portions were far more than I expected for the price. The second night we each got omelettes which were also good. The fries are also nicely prepared.

After a whale watching trip in the area, we ate lunch at this bistro and it was delicious! My husband and I sat outside and both had cappuccinos as well as a fish cassoulet. The service was very quick and friendly and was exactly what we needed before continuing on the rest of our day! Note this bistro does accept credit cards.

The restaurant is nice with a beautiful terrace. Menu gives enough choice, food quality was good (not outstanding but good), prices are ok. The services is terrible though! They ignored me completely at the beginning, then I had to wait 40 mins for my starter (a small salad), I had no napkin on my table, I did not get ketchup and mayonnaise straight away even though I asked for it. Bill took a long time as well and I was in a rush (which I told them at the beginning). So I would only recommend this place if you have a lot of time and patience and are not very hungry as you will have to wait a long time!Hello BluecyI will be reporting your comments back to the staff and management as feedback. Please understand the restaurant is very busy in the summer and it is hard to accomodate everyone´s need in the restaurant.best regards

Clube Naval de São Roque Bar is a most stop place in Pico Island. The view over São Roque Bay makes having breakfast, drinking a beer or having a fresh fish meal an unforgettable experience.
Located at the harbour of Sao Roque do Pico, this is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy the fantastic views. Buffet and menu offerings with plenty of local seafood available. The owner was friendly and offered good advice on ordering, especially regarding local wines.
