Wondering around the centre I came across this cozy looking restaurant. The friendly waiter invited me in, I looked at the limited menu and decided to give it a go. About 6 tables, all empty, and no one else came in for the next hour I was there. The waiter was very professional and helpful. Limited main courses for lunch so I ordered the stew (12 lara) and pot of mushrooms (8) bread (2.50) beer (3). Food arrived piping hot in about 15min and the mushrooms went well with the stew. Big mistake in ordering the stew because obviously it was not freshly made. I had not eating anything all morning except cup of coffee and toast. Returning back to hotel I felt upset stomach, laid on the bed fell asleep and woke up to be sick and in pain. Was there something bad in the stew, certainly not the mushrooms. Next time order something that has to be prepared that day.Restaurant was very cozy and maybe at night time is packed. Total cost 25.50 lara, good value for money. I should have stuck to my policy of eating at places that has lots of locals.Hello! We sorry about you for such awkward situation. We can guarantee that the dish was fresh made on the day as usually any other dishes, but in Georgian dishes and in particular Megrelian stew is made with many walnuts and Georgian spices. Sometimes a similar combination is hard to work for some organism.

I went here today for lunch and was delighted at the shrimp salad I got (with the alterations I wanted like no cucumber or rice) and the enormous Georgian cheese plate. I mean seriously itâs enormous, I took half home with me. Both items were fresh and very well-priced. £3.89 for a shrimp salad?! Unheard of in the UK! Also got a cold mango and coconut ice tea (no sugar) and that was also lovely. Just wish the bearded man would have smiled a bit more. Menu in English as well. Great WiFi and cool interior.

You'll enjoy the excellent Georgian-European kitchen, very big choice of drinks and especially wines, really comfortable situation and live music. seats are placed in a main hall, in terrace and in the garden.
I loved this restaurant. There's a large garden out the front, but on the day we visited it was raining so we sat in a conservatory at the front. It was so good that we visited twice. The food is beautiful and the portions are huge. I'm not known to leave food behind but couldn't finish my chicken and bacon Caesar salad. Earlier in the day I also had Ojakhuri with chicken. Beautiful. The beer was cold and delicious, the local stuff less than half the price of Krombacher and just as good. On the Saturday we were there, there was live music. The piano player was a maestro. It's very rare to see and hear such a player. I would pay good money to go and see this guy. Finally, the location is great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Welcome, aura bar-restaurant, we invite you in the family environment, with the best Georgian and European cuisine, with varied Georgian wines. Also with the best cocktails and hookah.
We had a lovely time here! We were desperate to have hinkali and after unsuccessful tries we found Aura. Vakho made our visit very special, we were recommended a delicious schmeruli dish which Georgians enjoyed for hundreds of years. Of course hinkali was beautiful, i had 6, but could probably eat a whole tray! Really loved the traditional salad with walnuts, cucumbers and tomatoes, even repeated the order. Also weâve got a special treat, homemade wine by Vakho! Such a joyful evening! Thank you Vakho and Aura team!

Hacker-Pschorr offers high quality German beer, a wide range of delicious Georgian and European dishes, very pleasant environment, friendly staff and high level of service. We are 24/7 ready to hosting you with pleasure!
The numerous good reviews Hacker-Pshorr garnishes are well-founded as this place delivers a solid eveningâs entertainment and gastronomic delight. Despite it having a âtourist-centricâ reputation we only saw locals that evening. We started off at the bar where tenderâs Giga and Irakli entertained us with friendly banter and good local beer. And eventually they persuaded us to sample some authentic Georgian dishes that are excellent. We sat at a table and were served by the lovely Ani who delivered their Khinkali (Dumplings) that are absolutely top-notch mouth-watering and other traditional edibles whoâs names escape me. My advice is to just sit-back and let them provide your taste-buds with food and drink. You will not be disappointed. Very good service, great atmosphere, one of our best evenings in Georgia.Hello, DesertSweeperThank you very much for such a positive review. We all are proud to hear that our guest had such an experience visiting us. This is great motivation for us to continue providing high level of service. We do appreciate your feedback. Looking forward hosting you anytime! With RespectHacker-Pschorr Kutaisi

The word âpalatyâ means Imereti ode where the first floor is built of limestone. There is a feel of a warm family atmosphere and home fire is always burns. It is the place where family spends most of time and receives guests. So, palaty is associated with

Wow this place, service and food are wonderful. I read a few reviews before heading out to hunt for a lunchtime restaurant and thought this place sounded great. Well we were not disappointed, the venue is clean, waitstaff attentive and spoke English and the food and wine was fabulous. Highly recommend this place for a Georgian lunch in Kutaisi.
