When the evening crowds become too hectic on the Krk waterfront Maritim offers a more relaxed terace a few steps from the bus station. It is also a popular lunch spot for locals and out of towners, who can park their cars in front or get take away. Pizzas baked in a huge owen are served as large as to cater for a whole family. The green tagliatelle with gamberi is also excellent. This was my new local residence for a week and I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace in sunshine.

Having walked past this restaurant earlier we walked back to it for lunch after touring the town. We nearly did not stay as it was full of noisy teenagers on a school vist, but the waiter assured us they were just leaving, so we studied the menu and by then the place was quiet. We had a table on the terrace and we all 4 chose the scampi and pasta. One of our party does not like food to still be in the shell, but he said no problem, and the food came with the shells removed. He brought home made bread, which was very tasty, but we should have eaten it, as when our food arrived the portion size was huge. The food had plenty of scampi, more than we would have expected, the sauce was very good, and the pasta "home made" and fresh. We ate as much as we could, but had to leave quite a lot. There was no way we could consider a dessert afterwards. The crowning touch to the service was one person asked if she could have a glass of Rose, but the waiter said they only did red or white wine by the glass and said the red was very good, but she can't drink red, so said she would stick with her fizzy water. A few moments later he brought a large glass of rose, which was very drinkable and good service. We would definitely use this restaurant again.

We have been two times to Konoba Sime. First time I ordered Mussels and my boyfriend took Tuna salad. Food was so tastefull, that we decided to come back again and they didnt dissapoint us. The second time we split one portion of Black pasta with seafood, which was one of the best pasta I have ever eaten. For our main course we had a mixed fish place for two and it was delicious as well. The service was quick, nice and friendly. They even gave us shoots of Rakija on the house at the end of our dinner. Prices are reasonable, because portions are big. We will come back for sure!

It was pouring with rain and we wanted to sit somewhere inside so this place was perfect, as there was just one table left. Our server was very efficient, took our order and quickly went through the menu. We had the locally produced wine which was great and I had mussels busara, and my wife had plaice fillets. We both enjoyed all the food very much. We had a nice evening and would recommend this place.

We decided to step away from the touristy crowded restaurants and take a 15 minutes uphill walk to Galiya to enjoy a quieter lunch. The place was nice and the staff were friendly. We had the shrimps pizza and the seafood spaghetti, both were very good.

My wife and me were here for an evening diner. We read on tripad that there had been difficulties about the decent cooking of their meat and fish. My wife got an undercooked fish and gave it back. The waitress told my wife she would get a new plate and other fish. Turned out the undercooked fish got a second heat, completely cooked to pieces. No free sorry drink neither. Huh, the bill wasn't small either.

very friendly staff and nice meals, would give it a 5star rating if it wasn't for the fact that they dont allow payments with cards and you don't know this right until you bill comes! then you have to run to ATM... Will definitely go back

This restaurant is rather new in the area and I have been trying to visit it for some time. Early this year it was still closed, than it was opened and full... now I finally got in. We were group of 6. 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian and 4 all eaters. The menu is very specific. A several varieties of Gallete (french cuisine from Bretagne). It is a 2 layer of crepes like dish made of buckwheat and filled with specific filling and covered with same topping. We have tried Ratatouille with Kulen (spicey salami) and smoked salmon. Very delicious. Same taste selections you can have also with local homemade pasta - Å urlice. Also great. All in all - very tasty & very friendly. Why only 4 stars - they do not take credit cards and they do not book tables.

King's Caffe Malinska Food pub is an English pub in a Mediterranean fashion. Specialty coffee, a wide range of beer both on tap and bottled. Fantastic location with beautiful terrace with the sea view. We serve food and breakfast.
This is really a great street food in Malinska, offering different variaties of burgers, salads, buritto and sendwiches. Eventhough I am not a fan of street food , the tuna salad was perfect. Tasty, delicious. What was a real refreshment in the offer if sweet potato fries. Delicious. Worth a visit.
