Reviews on European food in Kouklia, Paphos District, Cyprus. Kouklia (Greek: Κούκλια Turkish: Kukla) is a village in the Paphos District, about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) from the city of Paphos on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The village is built in the area of "Palaepaphos" (Old Paphos), mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty, which became the centre for her worship in the ancient world.

Last time it was not good, but we felt like spending the day at the little beach. â¬5 for a couple of chairs and an umbrella, great value. What a change in this plce for the better. We had lunch on 2 occasions. The staff anre brilliant. No wonder the girls are slim. They run around bringing food and drinks and always smiling.I left a bad revue last time this time it was great.

This restaurant has a good choice of both traditional Cypriot food and foods from other places around the world. It has different themes on different days and has a fantastic children's section with a lot of trouble taken to amuse and interest them in food.

This restaurant has become our favourite... we absolutely adore the Chinese food here... freshly cooked, amazingly tasty, lots of choice.. we come back time and time again... lovely attentive staff, who make a fuss of our son, and always make us feel welcome.

The Anoi Pub & Bar - The Anoi Pub & Bar is located in the heart of the Resort, on the first floor of the Village Square. It boasts a cosy atmosphere with high raised wooden ceilings, indoor and outdoor seating facilities and a terrace area with one of the
This isnât a traditional pub food-wise because it is much better than that. We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Service is lovely and friendly and they have a really great cocktail menu. However it is a traditional pub in the sense it has massive tv screens and these can be very distracting so be warned. If itâs an intimate dinner you wants and your partner likes football heâll probably have one eye on the screens the whole time!!They play the big sports events so choose your night wisely. However having said all that it really is a nice place and the food is really excellent.

Excellent food really friendly staff. I spoke to the owner about how I like a fried egg on my pizza. He recommended spinach mushroom bacon and egg. Wowww. Knock out. Really went together. This is our 5th year back at Mandria and our 2nd year visiting this wonderful happy restaurant. I always give the thumbs up to the pizza chef . Well done to all the team. Paul & Mandy

We visited here for a fish and chip meal. The meal was good, but, as we were eating our meal, people at other tables were actively feeding stray cats. I witnessed two separate tables where there the diners were taking food from their plates and hand feeding these cats. One woman actually took food from her plate with her fingers, fed a cat, then licked her fingers. These are the same Brits who would be demanding Health and Hygene inspectors to close down the place if it were in the UK. The staff obviously saw what was happening but did nothing. Good food but lacking in cleanliness means I won't be back.

Londos perasma situated on B6 at Timi village, just five minutes from Paphos airport. A traditional cypriot family run taverna, with a small outside childrens play area. A very reasonably priced menu consisting of both traditional and non traditional food
A super taverna - wonderful staff who are so helpful and friendly but professional. The strongest G&Ts ever ! Great to see Perrier served in a large bottle too. The tuna salad was super and the chocolate cake a seriously naughty treat with lovely glazing. Felt humbled when the tip was appreciated. A place with shade and a few sun traps - a great place to stop.

Live entertainment on Thursdays, Friday's and Saturdays.
First of all, the photos on tripadvisor make this place look awful and it really isnât. I wish Iâd taken some. We had a good meal. Sea Bream and Chicken Kebabs were very tasty. Kids had kids stuff and enjoyed it. They gave us some free dessert at the end. Not sure why, but no complaints! The Cypriot âtraditionalâ music and dancing was fun. Iâm sure it wasnât Olympic standard, but good enough to keep us entertained. We even joined in at one point.

Welcome to Olivio. Welcome to a place which is made with love, for people who know what they want. Here, every moment is unique. Moments of relaxation, enjoyment and entertainment accompanied by fine wine and quality food. Our smiles generously offered an
We visited Olivioâs twice again this holiday and we were greeted like old friends by Elaine, who is such a warm and friendly host. With her staffâs service and the chefs excellent food you cannot fail to be impressed. The menu is varied and together with the daily âspecialsâ described so enthusiastically by Elaine you will be spoilt for choice. On our first visit we had the Spring rolls and Duck wrap to start followed by Pork Saltimbocca and Chicken surf and turf. Second visit we had Goats cheese and Canelloni âspecialsâ for starters with Chicken Santorini and Pork Anarita to follow. The food is presented beautifully and tastes gorgeous. They also have some lovely desserts. The wine list has some excellent choices to compliment your meal and you can have a pre-dinner cocktail in their lounge area while you peruse the menu. We are so pleased we discovered this restaurant and will always return. Thank you again Elaine for two wonderful evenings, see you next time. Cliff & Teresa.
