The perfect place for everyone missing real bread and perfect european breakfast. Highly recommendable is the ultimate butter bread («Zopf» in German, «tresse» in French). Freshly baked whole wheat and even nut bread is offered, too (on order).

Oh my god, thank god for this place! after about a week in Thailand, I couldn't eat another pad thai. I came here on my last day to have schnitzel, and it was fabulous! The owner, I believe he is German, was nice enough to make me schnitzel even though it was breakfast, thank you so much!

Off the main drag so many probably never find this place. The food is so good, friendly service and handy for those staying at Centara, NTBRâs, etc. Busy when others in town were very quiet or closed so that says a lot. Worth seeking out. Cheers

Well what can I say about Bavaria House in Khao Lak except the food we had there was amazing. I was craving some European type food, so we ordered the Pork Knuckle, it was absolutely mouth watering and came with delicious German Potato Salad and a Mixed salad. Absolutely no complaints from us and even though we were full we had to share Grandmas Cheese Cake. All of this came to approximately AU$24 and it was worth every mouthful. We then finished off with a free Schnapps. On Highway 4 turn left on Soi Bang Niang which is straight after Bang Niang Markets and you will see Bavaria House a couple of hundred meters down on your right.

I'll start with the bar..great friendly service. Yummy cocktails.. Definitely would return for drinks.The restaurant...great service but the food let's them down.Hubby and I started with chicken satay..they were really good.I had a tuna steak..with mash potato and veg..the mash delicious..as was the veg and the sauce..I've had better Tuna elsewhere though.My hubbys main course... Not good.. After tasting it he didn't eat it...chicken masama curry..worst ever..and he eats them all the time..I tried it and agree....the chicken seemed poached or boiled..not cooked for hours tender and infused with flavor as it should be and it was sitting in watery milky sauce ...not good at all...Wouldn't eat here again....

A pleasant rustic place to eat. We were attracted by the "wood-fired pizza", but found ours a little disappointing. The base didn't have the stretchy chewiness of a wood-fired pizza, it was much more like a pastry base, rather than a dough one.

We had dinner here on our last night before flying home. Staff were super friendly, meals were beautiful and reasonably priced. Servings were generous. The restaurant bought out bread and entrees at no charge and these were delicious there was live music which was also great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was spotless and all of us enjoyed our meal

We decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews and also that it is within a short walk of the Moracea where we are staying. This restaurant really stands out as the best meal we've eaten so far. The restaurant is very modern and clean and the Panang curries were superb. The owner Dee provided a lot of information about the food on the menu and made recommendations. The chef Golf who cooked the meal also came and spoke to us. Overall we enjoyed the delicious food in very pleasant surroundings and with excellent service. We will return. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed every minute of our time at this restaurant. The food was outstanding and Patty is a attentive host. Her staff are also very good. Enjoyed garlic pizza for starter, chicken and mushroom sauce and snitty for main. Also enjoyed a huge fresh salad to share. I particularly loved the Aussie wine.... So good!

OMG - the Buddha Bowl with beetroot falafel and Cashew Nut Chutney dressing is a gift from the vegan food gods! . Add in the Strawberry, Banana and Peanut butter smoothie - plus a sneaky home made cookie and coffee and you are knocking on heavens door.
