An established cafe/restaurant in Carrbridge. Serving Breakfast and lunches as well as freshly ground coffees and delicious home made cakes. Wherever possible our produce is locally sourced and all freshly prepared by Kate and her "Kitchen" team
This was my first visit to Carrbridge Kitchen though it did come highly recommended. I was greeted warmly and seated near the stove which was a bonus as Iâd been outside all morning. I was spoiled for choice on the menu and went for the (recommended) tomato, cabbage and bean soup accompanied by a panini. Both were delicious and I have to say it was possibly the best panini I have ever had. I also had a good coffee. I would definitely go back to try something else although Iâm not in the area for long. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This was recommended to us as a place to go on a rare night away from the kids, we were not disappointed. The staff were all friendly, the menu varied and the food extremely fresh and local. Really enjoyed.

Each time we visit Newtonmore and Kingussie, we visit The Glen at least once - we've never struggled to get a table, without booking. It's not fine dining, and doesn't remotely claim to be, but the food's great - unpretentious British 'pub' fare, with a few interesting local variants, including venison. Vegetarians plainly aren't just an afterthought - try the veggie haggis.Haddock and chips might seem an unexciting choice, but you'll reliably get a larger fish than anywhere else! We'll be back....

Welcome to Aspects Restaurant located in the 4-star Macdonald Highlands Hotel within Macdonald Aviemore Resort in the heart of the Cairngorms. It is our dedication to serving only the highest quality food that makes our hotel restaurants stand out from th
We ate here for 2 nights during our stay at the Aviemore Highland hotel. We really enjoyed the food but feel the menu could be a bit more varied. I had the pot roasted chicken supreme on both nights which was served with oyster mushrooms and asparagus. I never knew asparagus could taste so good. My husband and I shared sides of brocollini with almond butter and glazed chantanay carrots. Both tasted amazing. The triple baked chips also went down a treat. Desserts both nights were nice however I felt the apple crumble could do with improvement. The crumble tasted soft and a bit soggy with no bite to it. We had breakfast 2 mornings and was very happy with the selection and quality of food. The actual restaurant is well laid out with ample space between the tables. The restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful especially Jared. I look forward to my next meal in this restaurant. Thanks for the review, we do pride ourselves on what we do, when we hit our standards and give our guests the experience they are after its so rewarding. Thanks

This is a really excellent restaurant on the main street in Newtonmore in the Cairngorms. Dougie is a brilliant chef, and we had a delicious last evening in the Highlands. The food was perfectly presented and cooked, with a decent wine list and friendly service. Good value for the quality, but watch out that they only take cash. There is an ATM directly opposite, but be warned. Dougie explained the reasons for this, which are sensible, but be aware nonetheless.

We had a wonderful evening at The Cross and look forward to returning again soon. We had a lovely table by the fire and the staff couldnât have been more helpful and friendly. I had the quail, followed by the roast halibut and finished with the cheesecake. Every mouthful was delicious. Thank you very much.

***closed during november 2019***Serving hearty portions of individually cooked dishes . After a short time we have fast become the chosen eartirey for both the local community and visting tourists. Offering restuarant and bar meals with weekly Sunday Car
We had great service and good food. A variety of options weâre available including gluten free and vegeterian which was great! Only a small complaint would be of the temperature in the room. The door we believe was left open to air out the freshly washed carpets and it was a little frisky. But we are assuming this was unusual.
