Lovely restaurant, in a superb location surrounded by countryside with distant views of the sea. The set menu was fantastic value with wines to go with every course. The a la carte a little more limited and pricier but still reasonable.

Al Ritrovo Pizzeria/Spaghetteria/Caffè Bar Come and visit us when you come to Visnjan Istra Croatia
This pizzeria is in fact a hidden gem in Istria. They are serving very good pizzas at very, very reasonable prices (the price of normal sized pizza with many ingredients) is less than 7 EUR. They serve also enormous pizzas (for 2-3 persons) at the price near 10 EUR. The taste and quality of pizzas is great even if you know that they are using electrical oven. Services are very good (the place is also dog friendly). They have some room for improvement in the area of toilets. If you are in the northern part of Istria and you wish to eat a pizza this is a place to go!

Thanks, we will be returning here for sure.

We were two families with teenage, primary school and kindergarten children. We were there a few minutes after the afternoon opening. A couple of tables were already taken. We got a nice place in the shade. All other tables on the terrace were taken in the next half an hour - be there soon or you will have to wait a bit and they don't take reservations.Service was really fast, staff nice and polite. We ordered seafood, pizzas, local pasta and some grilled meat with french fries. The food came fast, everything was tasty, portions really large. They have a really good local / house red wine. We concluded with homemade grappa and pear liqueur - also very good.Prices are very acceptable. They don't take credit cards, only cash.Overall, we were really satisfied and we are surely coming back.

Visnjan doesn't have too many restaurants, but this one is definitely one of local treasures. Local food at it's best.Season foods available and one of the best is wild asparagus in spring time. Always ask what are the specials they have, as there is always something out of menu in the kitchen.Portions are huge, so get here really hungry, otherwise, you won't be able to take it all.Staff is nice and friendly and if you happen to be here during worm weather, they have nice, rustic garden/terrace to dine in.

We wanted to taste real Istrian cuisine, so we searched agritourism places nearly... MekiÅ¡i village, niceplace por family with kids, beautiful weather, restaurant with terrace with olive trees, seems nice. It was holiday 1. May, so it was full, but nice atmosphere ...Service was terribly . The waiter didnât notice us for a while, when he saw us finally he didnât want to bring menu?! He was hurry and we agreed to his recommendation for some istrian food. Domestic wine malvazija was nice, food was delicious, prices are regularly for that kind of place... paying in kuna -cash only, no card.

Our family is proud to announce that we are in Restaurant business since 1989. We will continue and improve to serve delicious and fresh meals.
We ate there 3 times whilst staying in a holiday rental in Kastelir. Menu is comprehensive, with pages in English featuring all of the usual Croatian favourites as well as many German influenced dishes, pizza and of course many fish dishes. With the exception of fish which is expensive everywhere in Croatia, the restaurant was good value for money with dishes between 50 and 110 kuna and pizzas even less. Drinks were also great value for money. Waiters spoke some simple English so it's advisable to have at least a basic understanding of German or Croatian. The owner Toni was always to be seen with his customers and helped to create a wonderful happy family dining experience.

Konoba "Intrade" pruža jedinstven gostronomski užitak gdje tradicionalna istraska kuhinja susreÄe moderne trendove pripravljanja i serviranja hrane. DomaÄi istarski prÅ¡ut i kruh, domaÄa tjestenina, riblji i mesni specijaliteti oplemenjeni tartufima.
The food is great. Most I liked the food prepared especially on grilled meat. I've tried pork and lamb so prepared and can not decide what's better. I also tried tomahawk steak which my girlfriend is eating. The meat breaks down in the mouth as soft as it is. I certainly recommend a restaurant. The staff and owner of the restaurant are very pleasant and friendly.

Zardin is in the hills above Porec. Lots of local ingredients.....truffles, olive oil, potatoes. Loves patio, excellent food. Lovely house wine from a nearby winery. Best Croatian wine of the trip. Nice views down to the Adriatic. Well worth a detour.
