We visited twice on our latest visit to Jugon and both meals were very good.The Moules a la Creme were really good with great frites. I had the Veal Marsala the second time, which had the most wonderful sauce.They were quite busy and the service isn't fast, but it is friendly.Taken over as our favourite restaurant in the square at Jugon.

We walked away from this restaurant in disgust! We had seen it at 12 oâclock and had even spoken with the lady about the menu of the day. We said we would return at 1.30 pm, which we did. The place was not half full. We took our place at a table and then waited, and waited, and waited. Despite trying to attract the attention of the same lady we had spoken to earlier, there was no attempt to offer us a menu or take an order for a drink. Perhaps the fact that we had spoken in English earlier or that we broke protocol by taking our place at a table without being shown was the reason. Whatever the reason we decided that waiting for plus twenty minutes was long enough and left. To have waited longer would have probably involved being rushed because they wanted to close at 2 pm. We would advise people to avoid the place if this is the standard of service you can expect.Je me souviens que l'on vous a indiqué une table où vous installer, vous avez lu les menus et a peine 5 minutes après vous décidez de partir !!Il n y a pas de " protocole", nous avons beaucoup de clients anglais que nous apprécions et qui reviennent nous voir car nous parlons anglais aisément. D' autre part nous servons après 14h00, et il ne nous ai jamais arrivé de mettre un client à la porte ou de le presser de déjeuner !!Vous faîtes des suppositions inutiles, néfastes et sans fondements puisque vous n'avez pas déjeuner ici !!Vu votre mauvaise foi , au plaisir de ne pas vous revoir!!

We have had a static mobile home at Camping au Bocage du Lac for 4 years and the new Crousty'Lac opened this year (2015). It is a family run cafe for families and they do specials on certain days, like Moules and Paella.We collect freshly baked croissants and baguette for breakfast, which are nicer than those from the bakeries in the nearby village.If you're a visitor to Jugon-les-Lacs you can reach Le Crousty along a lovely path from the Water Sports Centre and if you fancy a swim then the open air and covered pools are open to the general public in the afternoons.

Very pleasant Riverside cafe overlooking trees. Relaxed owners and staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. STEAK, (enormous and delicious) Moules Frites, Generous smoked salmon Nordic salad, superb house burgers, and effort for the Vegetarians with a huge and varied mixed salad with feta. Huge selection of Ice creams, fruit sorbet and smoothie fruit drinks. HIGHLY recommended.
