I've enjoyed the wonderful location of the Cantina il Trappeto along with my wife and kids. Warm welcome and comfortable accommodation for 4 small babies.Concerning food, very good quality...but poor quantity: more generous portions would turn out in a better quality/price ratio.Service all but fast...

We read on several guides about this restaurant and his chef Domenico Cilenti, and we came with high expectations. The location is simply stunning, with beautiful landscape on the sea. The service at the beginning made few mistakes : with 4 people at the table the waitress served the water only at two of us. Again the waitress served from right and from left side. The table was left dirty of crumbs for long time. Too many mistakes for this level of restaurant. But the kitchen of Domenico let us forget all the mistakes in service : clean and definite tastes, based on high quality ingredients, cooked with ingenuity gave us an unforgettable diner. Paccheri with prawns and sfilacci was sublime, and the octopus with meshed potatoes excellent. The whole degustation menu was at the highest level, and I hope Domenico will get soon the star. The bill was in line with the food, 262 euro for 4 people : not expensive considering the quality. Thank you Domenico for the great food and arrivederci.
