After visiting here just a few weeks ago and enjoying both the food and service so much that I gave ita five star review, I could not believe the difference. Four of had lunch there today. It was not busy but the service was so slow. The staff were pleasant enough without being enthusiastic and the food was OK except for the minute stake which was verging on inedible. I struggled through about a third of it finding it difficult to chew and swallow but the remainder was inedible! By then it wasn't worth complaining as the rest of my party had finished their meals But when asked at the end of the mealhow things were,I mentioned the steak to the waitress but that was it. No apology from anyone in charge. Totally in contrast to my last visit and probably will be my last visit there!

We decided to visit after reading reviews here on TripAdvisor and the reviews were not wrong. The food and wine were delicious and the attention to detail and level of knowledge and service we received is among the best weâve had anywhere in the world. Mediterraneo is a charming and romantic place to spend an evening and we will definitely return.

Food was amazing, good choice and beautifully presented. Each dish was a surprise, well presented and tasted delicious. We will be back!Hi Penguin, in my opinion its the little touches that separate you from the rest! Obviously you need to get the fundamentals right first, which it sounds like we did? Thank you for your positive feedback. Best wishes, Joel

Had a meal for 6 on Bank holiday Monday.Unfortunately 2 steaks that were ordered medium rare were served well done. However, they were replaced with apologies and without question with 2 perfect steaks and to my surprise,we weren't charged for these items. All of the other meals were perfect and we had a great time.Sometimes its about how you correct a problem and the Talbot deals with it perfectly and I would"nt hesitate in returning.

Inspired by French cuisine and Parisienne bistro style. Cafe Rouge is your local bistro to enjoy delicious food and gorgeous glass of wine. Please ask us about our fabulous Function Room to, to hold your own parties in, or meetings.
We went there for lunch, ordered two sandwiches, one of them was a pancetta sandwich and didn't have any pancetta in it. When we told the waiter he apologised and I explained what happened. Mistakes happen and we understand that, but we had to eat at different times because of that and I can't give them 5 stars. It wasn't the first time we had to send food back, either. Service is good.
