Following the launch of our restaurant, The Salutation offers a wealth of dining options, from dawn âtil dusk. With the North Wing opened up to accommodate our state of the art kitchen, our dining rooms fully refurbished, and our tearoom given a fresh sta
My friend and I visited this restaurant for an afternoon tea. We are both Coeliacs so therefore gluten free was required. Lovely surroundings, pleasant staff.Four fillings of sandwichâs were presented to us, which were pleasant but we would have preferred to have chosen the fillings we wanted. The sweet items were well presented, and very tasty. Within the price of the afternoon tea was admission to the award winning gardens. The only negative comment about the visit, was that we was sitting in one of the restaurants eating our tea, music playing. The room was nearby the kitchen, staff within the kitchen were shouting very loudly and this went on for some time. Eventually they had to shut the door of the dining room to shut out the noise!

What a gem in Herne Bay Hight Street. Wonderful authentic Italian food. Staff very friendly. You do need to go upstairs to get to the seating area which may be an issue for some. Gluten free options availableWell worth a visit, portion size good and very competitive prices. Very popular so booking essential

We decided to pop into here for lunch on a Sunday - we were quite late at 3pm (!) and I have unusual allergies, but these weren't a problem and the lovely girl on the bar, kindly had a chat with the Chef, who had a chat with me...no fuss at all... I wasn't made to feel like a picky eater - which can happen when you say you have allergies. The Chef kindly made me something that was slightly 'off piste' with regards to what was listed on their menu... Great service, cute restaurant (we sat outside) and lovely staff... good value for your money as well.

Welcome to A La Turka! At A la Turka we serve dishes originating from Gaziantep, a city and settlement in Turkey's South Eastern region. Being on the silk route, the region has a huge diversity and fusion of cultures. It's cuisine from all over the world
We just had an awful meal, itâs not our first time here either, but definitely the last.. we booked & arrived on time it was quite busy but every table seemed to be paying the bill. We order a bottle of wine and some Taramasalata it arrived 15 mins later. We then waited SO long for our main course I got angry I was so hungry the restaurant was practically empty now, bar a table of 6 that came in 10 minutes after us and had eaten, paid and left...and we were still waiting for our main course, we had also drunk our bottle of wine! Anyway it eventually turned up but to my disgust was luke warm on a stone cold plate, after a short time eating we called the waitress over and complained she took away apologetic and then bought them back, however the plate looked so unappetising, they could of made an effort to make it look more appealing, anyway we gave up and asked for the bill. Yet the newly frequented table next to us received their courses which were funnily enough served sizzling. Did we arrive at staff change over or staff break either way it was not a good experience, so you maybe will want to think twice before spending your hard earned money here. A terrible experience and not to be repeated..We apologize for your experience. There must have been an issue with your order and sadly the staff hasn't handled the problem swiftly. We will look into the issue and work towards something like this won't happen again. If you would like to discuss this further please email us at [email protected] and we will try our best to help.Thank you!

Lovely warm welcome, accommodation very comfortable and well providedFood on offer excellent in terms of choice, taste, presented very well...and importantly delicious. It was well served by polite and helpful young staff, who were engaging but equally not overly present. Wine list was good. We will recommend it to friends and we will be returning.Thank you, and we are pleased to receive your feedback, and look forward to your next visit.regards,Marilyn.
