We are a maritime-style restaurant on Helgoland, with good hearty German cuisine and regional specialties.
The steak which was served was SUPER and the schnitzel could have easily been a dish for two. Generous glasses of wine and pleasant and good service. I can certainly recommend this place.

First of all - The view from The Hamburger is amazing. We went her without a reservation and where lucky to get a table, we just had to wait a few minutes. I would recommend reserving a table, try to get a table by the window. We all had a starter and and a main, none of us had room for desert. We had a fish starter and a steak for mains. Everything was good and portions where quite big. The service was not all that attentive, but very friendly.Strangely enough though they started cleaning the restaurant before all the guest had left. They even removed the flowers from a table where a couple hadend finished their drinks. They do not accept any other card that EC card, so we had to pay cash.

This is one of the little snack bar/sandwich shops in the row of colorful house near the marina. They have ready made sandwiches (brotchen) with smoked or marinated fish, shrimp or crab claws. Fresh oysters and champagne. The most interesting is that during the summer it is one of the few places you can buy boiled crab claws, a speciality of Helgoland. â¬16 a kg for large claws. Put together you own feast with some fresh bread.

During our stay in Helgoland we visited this restaurant on our first night. We liked it so much that we returned there every night. The people are nice and helpfull and there is enough variety on the menu. The food is very good.

This is a small, often busy Pizza and Pasta cafe. Everything is made freshly and quickly. When the weather is nice it is pleasant to sit outside. We ate there twice during our stay. The staff are very helpful.

This was just what we were looking for - a good simple fish restaurant. No booking on a Sunday evening but they welcomed us. Home made lobster soup and clear fish broth, followed by two different pan-fried fish from the daily list; we saw lovely desserts: and we enjoyed a cold white wine. Not cheap - 85 euros for two courses, one coffee and a bottle of wine but we couldn't find fault. If you spend time on Helgoland, you ought to visit Restaurant Atlantis.

Have some cocktails in the sun and enjoy watching the tourist and locals walk by.You have a perfect view on the little harbor were the local fisherman have their boats and all sorts of fancy sailing boats will make a pit stop to fuel up. I can especially recommend the strawberry daiquiri and Holzfaellersteak. In wintertime or on cold nights it is nice and cozy inside. Especially upstairs.

The Mocca-Stuben can be found in the center of Helgoland. The service is good and the surroundings very cozy. Perfect for a relaxing stay after visiting the Lange Anna. Best dishes in my opinion are the fish ( the sole or blacksalt fish) and the crab claws accompanied by a good selection of wine.

What a nice, welcoming, fair priced place for good dining. We first came in for drinks after finding the aquarium closed, then after seeing the food, came back for dinner the next night, and then again the next.
