We were 4 guests dining at the resaturant, we reserved a table the day before. Its a popular restaurant anf mostly fully booked. We were welcomed at the door and shown our table at once. A very nice round table decorated with fresh flowers spread on and at the table. We had a no waiting time fore the headwaiter came to bring the menu card. The other waiter mr Nejib placed the serviets under the plates , very conveniently. We ordered Turkey in orangesauce File mignon to dinner. We had redwine to the dinner. 2 bottle Magon vieux, and some water. First we had some simple mezza, mini brik, tartine, harrissa, tuna and some other things served with local oil and freshbread with and cereal , very tasty. We waited 10-15 minutes(a little to fast to eat the mezza) and the food was brought to our table on small transport tables. . The red wine was DECANTED in some nice decanter before serving, very good. The dinner was served under a serving dome to look nice and keep it warm(god thinking)We had sauce champignion and bernaise . Very tasty , especilly the homemade bernaise. The meet was tender and medium done as we asked fore. The ladies had the Turkey with the orangesauce , witch the lovey, meet very tender and served also with extra sauce beside. We had a waiter nearly all the time behind the table(at a discreat distance) Not pushing fore anything. so thats ok.We enjoyed the place, nearly fullybooked.we had crepe suzzette with icecreme flamebee in Grand mamier .. very nice and tasty, not to much. The ladies had Dark choclate on a cake with ice, nice taste. We had some coffee and free served local tibarin (licoer).Al the meal was exelent. The serving staff made a great job, not to much or to little. The music , Tunisien floklore was nice ...but maybee to loud when during dining..a little bit less loud would bee nice. The toilet was clean and tidy at the time we arrived , but sholud have a renovation to live up to the nice restaurant reputation... The standard allover was really exelent this friday evening. KEEP up the standard.

Been here several times the last 2 month. The new dayli manager Mr JALEL is doing wonders with the restaurant together with the chef de cusine. The luxury restaurant is becoming a better and better place to visit. The service is very good nd friendly without beeing "snooby" The nenu is varyated and not to expensive. The place in the habourfront is excelent and the overview lovely. You really fell welcome here. The new coming menu , with for exaple the Veal cotelet was exelent and tasty and recomenable. They also arranginge soiaree with music, soft and good music , not as many other places as high as possible... no you can really relaxe here.We can also recommend the fish here, Groupier, Daurade, Sole in lemonsauce among other exating fishdishses. The local BRIK with Tuna, schrimps and potatoe is worth trying , a good and tasty starter starter. They hav a good Tunisien local winelist, not expensive, from 23 dinar, try the muscat, whitewine, very nice and light.Concerning the smokingpolitice MR JALEL has introduced a new politice with NO SMOKING in the front area of the restaurant and a smalle area in the backside area fore smokers. NOW You can enjoy the meal ad smell the flavour of the menu you choosed.. EXCELENT.Of the menu we tryed the chicken breast in orangesauce with rice, the Daurade fille with in whitesuce, File mignon with mushroomsauce(fresh mushroom fried in butter first) crispy and well tasting, We had omelet wit Tuna to lunch and fresh sallad, Grilled Veal in peppersauce, Turkey grilled with rice and vegtable. NO COMPLAINS.. very good food. The orangeice is nice after a meal, and the local thibarine to the coffea. The toilets (both ladies and mens) are very tidy and clean with fresh roses, towels and the cleaninglady there always polite and smiling. We sat inside some of the times and outside at the veranda some times, a very nice place.Sorry its situated a long way from the main gate in the port, a little difficult to find(250 m to walk arround in the habour. Anyway we HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant

Next to the Saloon Bar listed as #5 in Sousse. Run as separate restaurant though - would love to give it the glowing review it deserves.
A very busy restaurant however after a short wait we were taken to our table. All ordered fillet steak, medium cooked, two of us had jacket potato with soured cream and two had chips, all of us had pepper sauce (very different but nice) Absolutely superb! One of the best steaks Iâve ever had, totally divine, highest quality and cooked to perfection. Two alcoholic drinks each plus four fillet steaks came to £50, WOW not only fabulous quality but unbelievable price. Highly recommend this restaurant

My partner and I ate here for lunch at the end of September whilst staying in the Marhaba Salem. Inside was spotless and very modern, and out waitress was friendly, helpful and attentive. I ordered what I thought was a sandwich, turned out to be a massive sandwich on homemade bread, which was absolutely amazing! Extremely fresh produce used, could barely finish half of it! My partner ordered a similar to calzone type thing and his was lovely too. Also had a dessert between us and that was fresh and very tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit here as it is more than value for money, food is great and staff were very attentive.

5 of us Turned up on the off chance as spotted from a distance on the harbour. Lucky to get a table as there was a graduation party on but itâs Best restaurant weâve found in port El Kantaoui. More like fine dining. Lovely room with air con, There was a live singer donât know if this was just on a sat night or for the party but he was really good. Lovely ambiance and setting overlooking the harbour. Attentive service, friendly staff & lovely presented food. Starter of beef carpaccio was lovely as was the prawn cocktail and duck we all had steak which was thick and juicy and the blue cheese sauce was really nice. Shame they had no muscles or oysters as it had been too hot to trust them the waiter said so weâre hoping they will have them next week. Very Reasonable priced wines & the Chardonnay was lovely. Had a really lovely evening. Will definitely be returning during our holiday.
