Sadly on a Thursday in August, couldn't dine here as no reservation. After seeing the crowds coming and going, ill know for next timeThank you for your comment, sorry we couldn't make space for you , it does get rather busy at peak times ,especially in August our busiest month. We do try our best to facilitate non reservations but depending on the time you called in sometimes it is just not possible. Not only for seating arrangements but also for the capabilities of our kitchen team, to cook food we are proud of for every guest. We hope to see you another time . Kind regards Eithna

We stumbled onto this place when staying in the Yeats Country Hotel around the corner and couldnât believe our luck. The restaurant is really nicely decorated with the driftwood theme throughout but the food was just amazing! I got the beef brisket sliders to start which were just so tasty, and a big portion too, but I couldnât stop eating them. Then I had the prawn & monkfish gratin for mains, along with a cheeky charcoal margarita which was a surprise to the eyes but a treat to my mouth! My husband had the chicken wings to start and the burger for mains & loved every mouthful. He was so impressed with the chicken wings that he wouldnât get them anywhere else for the rest of the trip because he said theyâd be a disappointment after the Driftwood ones. I couldnât recommend this place highly enough, the place was so cosy and relaxing, the staff were so nice and friendly, and the food really was top notch. The prices might be slightly higher than other restaurants in Rosses Point but the food really is on another level so well worth it. We were saying if it was a restaurant in Dublin they would be charging twice the price and theyâd still be full every night!Definitely treat yourselves to a meal here if youâre in Rosses Point.

Saturday evening, for dinner without reservation... It was very-very challenging and we had to wait a lot for getting a seat.In the end it was worth, though we almost gave up.It was very busy, very crowded, but we got our garlic bread, steaks - with the correct sauces, not mixed up...The prices we found reasonable.

My partner and I visited the Cottage Cafe last week. We both had great meals as usual. My falafel plate was one of the specials and it was fabulous. They are so creative like food, both in their menu and presentation. And with a killer view of the strand at Rosses Point, what a great place to visit often

Really looked forward to this visit but I am a little underwhelmed .Maybe we visited in the quiet season but the choice of starters was very limited.Having said that the pizza I had was one of the best I have ever tasted and I know my fellow diners enjoyed their food as well.I am confused when I read the other reviews , as we saw no sign of seafood options>.Laura was a delightful host and the service was excellant. We will have to go back again but maybe in a defferant season.

This restaurant is well worth a visit, itâs extensive menu caters for all. I opted for the Salt & Chilli Squid, although slightly greasy, and Chilli was lacking, it was still a very well presented and tasty dish. For mains I opted for the Surf & Turf Burger, the meat in the Burger was delicious, again the slight letdown down was the greasy calamari, but the major fault with this meal was the chips, more than likely a poor quality frozen chip, Chefs donât seem to care about the chips, which can bring their otherwise **** meal, down to just ok, a good wine list although a little pricey, but still well worth a visit if you are in the area.

A visit to the Northwest is not complete without stopping off at Award-Winning Langs Gastro Pub in Grange, County Sligo. This family run establishment began serving food 8 years ago. Since then, the combination of quality home cooked food & our friendly &
Started our evening in the bar chatting up the owner about the history of Langs. Really friendly guy! Seems like a local watering hole which is exactly what we wanted. Moved in to another room and watched the World Cup with locals and learned more about the area. Ended up ordering fish & chips-very good) and eating in the bar (couldn't give up talking to our new pals). There is a lovely dining room, and all night people were coming in to eat. This must "Be the Place" in Grange. Highly recommend!
