Blainville is one of these very busy place in summer. La blanche offers very good meals and is ideally located on the beach. We dine there very late on a Friday evening arriving late in the city. But they welcome you warmly even after 10pm. We were so happy by the service and the quality of the food that we came back the next day to be equally satisfied. This is not extravagant food but that's very well made and the staff is friendly. I can only recommend the place.

Very good fresh seafood restaurant, near parking and at the beach. A seafood buffet as a starter with oisters. The restaurant welcomes elderly, children and even dogs. It offers a simple menu formule mainly fresh fish. Daily menu accomplishes the choice. Wines fit to the standard and surprisingly good. The restaurant is preaceful and quiet. Here you can enjoy good company and honest food.

I cannot believe that we have lived in this area for so long and not visited this restaurant before. The place is very small, with about 20 covers. We had the 3 course lunchtime menu at 18â¬, a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 6 desserts. Each course was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The two staff were attentive and friendly.A trip to the toilets was interesting, down the stone spiral stairs - mind your head!I could not fault any of it. Wise to book as the place was full. We will certainly be going again.

Good location, and clean modern decor, but the food was uninspiring. Nothing was terrible , but nothing really impressed either ; I had the fish with what appeared to be spam, two of my party had different salmon dishes, and one had the gammon. Ok but nothing more. They were reasonably understanding with my lw standard french !

Superb birthday lunch for eleven. Great cake, great service. Now the rest........This restaurant will appeal to all tastes. At its most simple it produces freshly made pizzas. I had a hot one and it was superb. Simply superb. My (French) colleague had an 'escargo' pizza. Yes, that's what I said - escargo! He is a real 'foodie' and absolutely loved it. A bridge between the simple/fast and the more up-market traditional. There was also a range of local, traditional, French cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Some of my friends had the Steak Rossini - they rated it entirely - I tasted the sauce and will be having that next time!Great atmosphere, great service, great food.Give La Ferme a go!

On a very cold Tuesday in a somewhat remote area we found this restaurant open at noon and rushed in gratefully. We were the only customers, but we got excellent service and food. This is an oyster cultivation area, and one can see the oyster beds and oystermen tending the beds from the restaurant's window. The tide was very low when we were there, and horses pulling sulkies were being exercised on the hard wet sand. It was exceedingly pleasant to eat oysters, drink chablis, and watch the movement of the tide.

We chose this restaurant based on TA reviews and as it was close to our hotel Villa Julia. My wife enjoyed a starter of 8 large 'shell on' prawns with small tub of Marie Rose sauce which suited her fine. I had the Rillette of Mackerel which was tasty. We both had the Mussels in cream sauce as mains. These were smaller in size than we had recently in thr Netherlands but the dish was a tasty, adequate meal.As another TA reviewer had mentioned the excellent ice cream coupes, we indulged ourselves likewise which were large and delicious. The service was efficient, professional. Overall an excellent value seaside French eating experience.

Restaurant bord de mer, avec des plats simples, mais ne servant que des produits frais. Fruits de mer, poissons, viandes.
So we arrived for a nice sitdown of a seafood lunch. We sat outside with views of the workers clearing the city of muscles. One of my friends asked for a Pernod unfortunately they had run out even though it's run out and it was demonstrated to us that it was empty. Then we were asked if we wanted to eat to which we replied yes. Then we were told there was no food available because there were only three staff on duty. With two waiting tables, and one in the kitchen. Plenty of people around us were eating, several having just drinks. And the establishment was not full. So it really was a very unproductive visit to this place. What we can say is that staff seemed friendly enough. But it was not good business sense to turn someone away when even if they had suggested a limited menu or perhaps a delay to the order.Vraiment désolés d'avoir pu vous servir mais la cuisine était fermée quand vous êtes venus et les personnes autour terminaient leur repas. A une autre fois peut être.

Come and enjoy the view of sea , have a drink with some tapas at the bar enjoy seafood or fishing returns but also our barbecue terrace feet in the sand with friends or family and to animate your evenings concerts will be offered throughout the year.
We went to Les Dunes 3 times, during the low season, but it was nearly full everytime. The restaurant is excessively well placed, in the dunes - hence its name! - overlooking the beach and the sea.Itâs more of a bistro than a traditional restaurant, exactly what you expect to find on the beach.Simple tables and chairs, as i was told there is quite a lot of in-and-out during the summer season. The menu is limited, and mostly about fish and seafood, yet proposes enough choice for everyone and also a couple of meat-based dishes.Quality is excellent, very tasty, perfect size portions and service fast.I recommend the âmoules marinièresâ, they are excellent! We went 3 times so far and were never disappointed. We were twice lucky to have a table by the window (we booked), so we could enjoy the sunset over the sea.The second time was in the evening and there was a live band, and the atmosphere was brilliant. We loved the place!

When I looked online and saw the menu, I couldn't believe the prices. A Michelin starred lunch at â¬25? The same price as the bistro 5 minutes away?No reason not to book! Finally we went for dinner and the 5 course tasting menu. Fresh flavors. 5 courses with plenty to eat without feeling stuffed at the end of the meal. True, there aren't tons of side veggies as some have noted, but there is more than enough to eat.And the bread... Homemade, with homemade butter, jams, chutneys, salts, honeys... Yes, I could have made a meal of the bread but then I would certainly have felt stuffed. The service is top of the line. Michelin gave them a star, so nothing surprising. The silverware is surprising and pleasant.A lovely dinner,Thank you so much to the entire teamMerci pour ce si gentil commentaire qui nous encourage tant.C'était un grand plaisir de vous servir et j'espère vous revoir bientôt.Bien cordialementNadia HArdy
