Quiet, almost bashful, undeniably modern and elegant, with a patio overlooking dall'accecante white color on the sidewalk of a picturesque street in the historic center of Gallipoli. This is the first impression that you have with the Cafe Blanc, pictures
Unassuming bar tucked in the first back street from the harbours edge hides a large open courtyard subtly lit and carefully furnished with artful mixed fabrics. Hidden from view via tunnels of plush padded seating areas, the music wafts through each space enticing you to find the area that fits you best and explore a taste bud expression of flavour by picking one of the many cocktails on the menu. Chill, chat or choose a nibble from the menu, anyone can be a cool cat in this pad.

At the arriving the waiter described for us that the restaurant was a wine bar with sophisticated kitchen and finer food.We got surprise to see on the menu canguroo, well not a Salento product, so we wondered why?We decided to order an Hamburger, really badly prepared and poorly served.Deep frozen, precooked meat, Angus Beef they said. Served with only French fries, no buns, no sallad, not even a slice of tomato or any dressing at all. I suggest the management to have a look on Google how a hamburger should look like.Broad beans pure with squid was ok, too pricy for that small amount of squid. 14 Euros, being a starter. The wine list was ok, nice wines, but unfortunately hard to pair to any food. Another suggestion is to remove all the plastic plants, it look sad and it gives a cheap atmosphere. Sophisticated is not the right term to describe this restaurant. We gave One star because the waiter been polite and professional, even though was like his first day at work.Otherwise 0Dalà Louboutin Dear Customer, reading your review according to my opinion, you have the wrong place to come and eat, however the Hamburger in question has been inserted only for children, we are not a sandwich shop, we do not serve sandwiches with salads and tomatoes, we have cuts of prized meats, including the Canguro and Salentino, we have the Martina Franca bomblets and horse in pieces. The mashed beans and squid has a price of 12.00 euros not 14.00 euros.I am 30 years old, I do catering and my kitchen is sought after with high quality products and I don't think I need to take a look at Google for a hamburger, I advise her having seen her YOUNG AGE, to read the reviews and evaluate whether to choose, an Enoteca with Osteria or a PUB.Emanuele the Owner and Chef

The terrace is overlooking Gallipoliâs beach and the view is breathtaking. Good friendly service. Short menu indicates fresh produce and fish. We recommend the raw gamberoni viola and the revised parmigiana di melanzane. Perfect lunch spot and I am sure dinner is just as good. I recommend it and will return. CIAO

DolceVita Restaurant, from the third floor of the charming hotel Palazzo del Corso, overlooks the sea of Gallipoli. Open to all visitors looking for a unique place to enjoy excellent local cuisine, DolceVita has indoor and outdoor spaces: the glass window
the atmosphere of the hotel is lovely, and the roof terrace-restaurant is very romantic. The staff are extremely attentive, and the cocktails on offer are excellent. However, having travelled all over Puglia and tried the best food Italy has to offer as a fraction of the price, DolceVita should be ashamed of what they serve and at the extortionate prices. The famous Gallipoli red prawns are nothing special, and everything is served as big-plate small-portion food, going against the Pugliese idea that food is not pretentious.Skip the food, and go for a drink instead.

I do not recommend visiting this place because the staff is not very friendly, the portions were small with expensive prices. We stopped here for a dinner and we took two typical menus: meat and fish. I wanted to make a change in the boundary between salad and potatoes and they told me they can do it, but I have to pay ... inexplicable! Theyre "typical" sausages of Puglia was nothing special, the Orecchiete with tomato sauce was ok, but with very little cheese 'cacio'. You have to pay the 'coperto'/covered 2.5 euro per head which seems a theft for paper-tablecloths and they make you keep your cutlery of the first course also for the second. In Gallipoli are better, cheper and with more friendly staff restaurants than this.
