Brasserie.. plat du jour et suggestions à lâardoise , bar à vin , petits déjeuner, cave à charcuterie, glaces .. limonade , cocktail...
Forget about reviews written some ago, this Bar / brasserie has reopened with new owners and new chef. The food is almost all made on the premises, well cooked and tasty using good ingredients.Ideal for a lunch or reasonably priced meal.Flayosc already has several good quality higher end restaurants, the revamped Midi will ensure a good mid range alternative.

We had a very nice lunch from the ala carte menu. All servings were nicely prepared with nice fresh locally (at the chateau) produced vegetables, homemade foie gras etc. Quality is good and prices are at the higher end for a bistrot. The surroundings at Chateau Berne are exceptional - do not forget to walk around either before or after you have lunch.Dear Madam, Dear SirWe are very grateful that you have left your opinion and we are particularly pleased that your dinner in our restaurant went as well.Looking forward to welcoming you again for a next opportunity.Best regards,Benjamin CollombatChef of the restaurants

We had an enjoyable dinner in this restaurant located near the main square in Lorgues. The terrace is pretty under a big tree. The food we had was tasty (the omelette with white truffles was great). Service was friendly. Price-wise we spent about 90⬠for the menu for two and a bottle of rosé wine.

The menu here is very French as were most (all?) of the other diners. Our food was simple but well cooked, pleasantly presented and in large portions. Notable was the house wine (we had red and rose) which were both very good and exceptional value. The terrace is in a great spot overlooking the village square - a beautiful spot on a warm summer's evening. It isn't fine dining but it was a great meal and I recommend Le Melissan,

My OH wanted to have a meal based on classic French cuisine. However, as I am vegan , this proved difficult. We asked the proprietor of it was possible to have a vegetarian meal (didn't think vegan would be a goer!) and without missing a beat, a lovely meat free meal was produced. They adapted the "amuse bouche for me," and I had deep fried , stuffed. Ourgette flowrs as a started, followed by a beatifully presented vegetable based dish. So much great fresh produce in this area. I was very impressed! My husband loved his food too and the restaurant itself was busy, always a good sign! I didn't find it easy to get meat free meals in the area,so this was a real find.

Déjà 14 ans que le restaurant La fleur de thym a ouvert ses portes. Pour le plaisir de vous recevoir et de vous faire découvrir des saveurs différentes dans chacun de nos plats... A bientôt pour une nouvelle aventure culinaire !
This small restaurant never ceases to provide beautifully presented and tasty food. There is limited choice on the menu du jour with the beef or veal option having a hefty supplement of 9â¬.Nevertheless you are unlikely to be disappointed and the restaurant is perfect for impressing visiting friends.

Have been here with a couple of friends a few times and now at a major wedding function last week.Does not matter when .... but always great and friendly and personal service by the new Patrons and their staff. Menu less complicated -more tasty than before and brings better value. After 9 years in Flayosc ,I have tried them all....: This one is the best ,

A friend and I had lunch in this one-star Michelin restaurant located in the beautiful Chateau de Berne. The menu we had was exquisite with very tasty dishes. An enjoyable experience ! Given the quality of the food, we found that the price of the menu was reasonable (55 â¬).Dear Madam, Dear Sir,We are very happy to hear that your experience at Benjamin's Garden was also pleasant and we are very grateful to you for leaving this comment. We will not fail to convey your fine compliments to our teams and we would be delighted to welcome you once again to our area for a future occasion.Best regards,Benjamin CollombatChef of Restaurants

It was restaurant week in France with many restaurants participating in the 2 for 1 offer. This was one of the participating restaurants. We were given a table on the terrace as requested, and given the special menu for the offer. 4 starters, of which we would receive all 4 (2 of each), a choice of 4 main courses and 4 desserts, all for 35 Euros for both of us. Fantastic value. The food was superb - foie gras on toast with fig jam, chopped salmon and cucumber in a sauce in small glasses, thin smoked ham with shaved parmesan cheese, and pieces of cheesy pizza, all for starters. We oth had the beef fillet which cut like and dream and tasted just as good. Only very minor criticism, it wiuld have been nice ot have just a few vegetables, and less french fries.I had a gooey chocolate fondant, and my husband a gaspacho of pineapple with ice. All very very tasty. Good bottle of Brouilly, plus water, and we left feeling great. Would highly recommend this place.
