Go for it - og enjoy the place, close to Limfjorden, lots of boats in the small harbour, near to camping site and shops in Brovst, 8 km away.

We were staying at Slettelstrand and took an evening to walk down the beach to Strandhuset Tranum. What a great experience. The food was excellent - fancy but not snobbish. There was something for everyone (including my teenagers). The wine was really nice as well, and we very much enjoyed talking with the owner. All in all a wonderful experience! Thanks - we'll be back next summer, for sure!

Vi bestilte nachos, god mad men glemte vi havde sagt ikke stærk... Men i forhold til deres pizzaria får man ikke meget mad til pengene, nachos 10kr dyre her og man får 1/4 af hvis man køber på deres pizzaria.

Loved this place! A great local atmosphere with a large selection of burgers/sandwiches. I think there is something for everyone on this menu. We shared the sliders and thoroughly enjoyed all of the selections. The food was outstanding and we loved the people - so friendly and inviting. The price was good too!Kære Rasmus. Spiste frokost i restauranten. Valgte et stjerneskud med pandestegt fisk, røget laks, dampet fisk og en kæmpe portion håndpillede rejer. De andre ved bordet valgte en mad med håndpillede rejer. Råvarerne var af super kvalitet, mængderne var rigelige og priserne var rimelige. Opskriften på nordjysk succes ! Stort udvalg af drikkevarer, lækre lokaler og flot service.

We were looking for a restaurant opened until 10 pm and we werent expecting anything. The place offers an all you can eat buffet or à la carte menu. We tried the danish menu and it was excellent. The plate is full, wine is good. We ate for 50 euros which is not too bad in North Jutland. A very good surprise and super friendly staff.

Efter at have kørt rundt efter et spisested fandt vi La Viva café og restaurant. Vi blev mildest taget dybt forbavset over udvalget og meget glædelig overrasket.Vi valgte en flamberet oksemørbrad m gemüse grillet på kul med separat salatskål og verdens bedste kartoffelbåde. Hold nu op en lækkerbisken, og super super betjening. Og dertil en rigtig lækker rødvin!Stedet har faktisk eksisteret i omk 12-15 år uden at være anmeldt her, men nu håber vi, mange kan få glæde af denne anmeldelse. Der er siddepladser såvel ude under halvtag som inde. Der kan sidde ca 60 indenfor. Vores allerbedste anbefaling!!!Og prisen for bøffen på 200 gram: 159 kr!!!

We stayed a couple of nights (see separate review on the hotel) and dined in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.All the time we were served "relaxed gourmet style" meals - top quality ingredients, innovative preparations, artisticly arranged and served with a smile by the young and very charming staff.You can opt for the svinkloev menu, the seafood menu, the veggie menu or dine a la carte. They will let you mix and match between the menus that changes each day so there is quite a variety of options.Only downside: quality costs, but it's worth it!
