We got back late and very hungry from a long day trip. As soon as we walked in there was a warm and inviting vibe. The chap behind the bar spoke wonderful English and was very friendly. The only vegetarian main course had finished for the day, which made my heart sink! But as soon as I mentioned it the lovely guy asked me what I wanted (just plain tomato/ veg pasta) and he went and asked the chef to make it! It was hands down the best pasta Iâve ever had! I was super grateful. Boyfriend had the Pork and gave it 5/5 - very pleased would recommend to visit!

Aqva and Farina Bistrot. Restaurant, bar, pizzeria. The swimming pool is open from 1 June 2019. Always open.
The restaurant is part of Villa Casagrande. It is located on the to of a hill with great views. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is Italian fusion and it is very good. The decoration of the restaurant is modern and nice.Recommend to have the 1/2 from the hotel.

Inside the historic Villa La Palagina, in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of the Chianti. The Restaurant serves speciality dishes that take classic, traditional Tuscan cuisine and give them a modern twist. We also offer menus for people w
For exceptionally well, everything has to fit! The restaurant is clearly better than average. Nice tasting dishes that come close though perfection. Just not there yet in my view. Rhubarb that looked nice in the appetizer and was chewy, French cuisine type dishes with just too small portions. It was not so busy the first night we were here and service was prompt. The second night was busier and we had the wait for over half an hour for our coffee towards the end. There were some groups that seemed to get all the attention. So while the dishes are prepared well and taste nice, they didnât have that special level yet where the prices are ahead. For 163 euro for 3 courses and wine for 2 you would expect perfection compared to Italian standards.

This is an attractive restaurant with vaulted ceilings and bright décor. The upper floors were thronging and I was shown to the lower floor basement which remained otherwise empty for the entirety of my meal, somewhat diminishing the ambiance. I couldn't help feeling that being a lone diner here gets you tucked out of the way and forgotten. Certainly the slowness of the service would add weight to that theory. On the positive side, what service there was was polite and friendly and the food was fine. Some dishes I would rate good, others average. Nothing either poor or outstanding.I wouldn't hurry back but neither would I object to eating there at a pinch.
