Had been visiting Candelaria and wanted a late lunch. New there was a seafront area with lots of restaurants and drove along. Finding parking space a Premium..... but managed to get one and walked back. Had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes, but that was fine. Was kept informed by owner. Decided on just a main course, two men had the wreck fish, and are still talking about it. I had the salad with prawns, delicious, my friend the cod and prawns, equally as tasty. Excellent restaurant, expertly ran.

We went there in the middle of the week to have lunch because we have heared a lot of good recommendations. They serve fresh fish and seafood you chose from the fridge. It was an amazing experience. I recommend to make a reservation because when we were there (around 14 oâclock) it was completely crowded and we had to wait for the table for cca 20 min.

Fresh fish and live seafood , paella, tapas
We went there quite early, only one staff speaking English but they all were very friendly and helpful. Just pick what you want at the counter then they'll cook it for you. Had a bery satisfiying meal coz Im a seafood lover. Even my husband who is not usually a big fan of seafood enjoyed himself very much. Price is reasonable as well. We ordered 1 big sole, another smaller fish, 1 oyster, 1/3 squid, 2 big prawn(this is the most expensive but the best), 2" fish roe, grilled peppers, 1 potatoes, 4scallops and a handfull of local clams, 1 kids chicken nugget with chips and a bottle of wine total was â¬80 very reasonable. Definitely recommended. Simple but good

This restaurant is situated on a rural property with casitas and arid gardens. Beautiful towering cactus and other plants. The food is traditional Iberia pork, soups, filet. The deserts were amazing. Lemon orange cake, chocolate tort, white chocolate with mint and berries. The building is 350 years old with stone walls and rustic wooden beams. Allow for a full dining experience - the food was paced slowly. Plenty of time for wine and conversation.

Cenas bajo reserva para grupos mayores de 10 pers. Viernes y Sábados. Especialidades: Arroz caldoso, caldereta, ensaladas especiales. Variedad de vinos de la comarca.
They don't have a menu so really it's best to just let them recommend something, that's what we did and everything was utterly delicious. We shared their specialty which is a mix of fish and shellfish in a flavoursome broth. Fish was served whole, beautifully fried, with crispy skin and juicy flesh. Great dish. We didn't know what dessert to get so just asked the owner to bring what he likes and ended up with a yummy banana mousse of some sort. Everything was fresh and tasty, there's an ocean view and everyone is really friendly. Highly recommended! Thank you!

As ever, cafe al mar is the perfect place to be. Wonderful sea views. Quiet location. Totally relaxing atmosphere. Tapas are good and imaginative, beautifully presented, and extremely reasonably priced. Drinks, too. Highly recommended.

This charming restaurant offers a genuine Canarian cuisine of excellent quality and beautifully presented. The personnel is very welcoming and has attention for details. We had dinner here twice in a week and both experiences were remarkable enough for us to warmly recommend tasting a few of this restaurant's dishes. The suggestion menu offers a wide variety of dishes and changes quite regularly, making a return visit even more worthwhile. We pretty much only chose amongst the suggested dishes and were never disappointed, on the contrary. The terrace behind is cosy and delightful.

Where do I start? Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The food, the choice, the service ...everything was first class. We tried the combination platter and were not disappointed. The flavours were amazing and we got to try a good amount of everything. They were happy to accommodate variations to the menu to make things child friendly. My daughter wanted the gnocchi but with a tomato sauce instead of the one on the menu and she happily ate until she was full. Our favourite was the tortilla, Hulk (spinach gnocchi type of thing in a rich tomato sauce) and chick pea curry. The vegan mozzarella was fabulous too. I canât recommend the food enough. For dessert we tried the chocolate torte (amazing), Kaki cheesecake (lighter than the torte) and the pear and chocolate muffin with vegan ice cream. All were a thumbs up. Rounded off with great tasting coffee and herbal tea. A restaurant we will never forget and canât wait to return. The service was special too. Everyone was happy and friendly. Really goid service with a smile. Relaxing and comfortable. The restaurant was full on Sunday afternoon so advanced reservations strongly recommended. Well worth the trip out here for excellent food and hospitality. If possible Iâd give it 6 stars.
