No complaints, the food well cooked and presented. I'm sure if my language skills were better I would have felt more included. I did arrive before opening time but was allowed to a table whilst they prepped up. No pressure to with the menu, I had the evening menu, three courses and a fair choice. As locals arrived they had very warm welcomes which was nice to see. What was also good was the service was attentive but not overpowering. Happy to eat there again, but might try somewhere else.Bonjour Monsieur, merci pour votre avis, au plaisir de vous revoir lorsque vous serez près de chez nous.Kind regardAlain

We found the food original and good, especially the fish and seafood dishes but it was always served cold or barely lukewarm, as the plates were not warmed before it was served (or maybe they lingered in the kitchen...) Given the price we paid, better service was expected. The wines are just too expensive.

Located on the rue Croix-de-Seguey in Bordeaux, this intimate and romantic restaurant is a top dining destination for discerning foodies. Run by the husband and wife team of Denis and Nelly Franc, the cream-coloured dining rooms at Le Pavillion des Boulev
If there is one dish to win my heart over in a restaurant, it is the smoked foie gras with coffee sponge at Le Pavillon des Boulevards. Itâs the perfect match of flavours and texture. It makes me want to go back to have that dish anytime again! We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted delicious apart from the fish âtartarâ which perhaps needed a bit more intensity in its flavours. The wine matching with each course were great, compliments to the sommelier. Service was efficient and friendly. The ambience was tranquil. We got a table overlooking the courtyard. With the natural light of the long European summer days filling the all white interior of the restaurant, itâs very soothing and relaxing! Together with the delicious food, we could sigh a happy sigh: âAh! Life is good! â

Gourmet restaurant of meat and grills, fish and seafood in Merignac, close to Bordeaux, in theGironde. This restaurant proposes traditional and authentic food based on fresh produces. Come to taste specialities of the Southwest of France within a sophisti
We chose a small steak evening meal. absolutely delicious, the sauce the steak was cooked in was beautiful, was served simply and rustic. Steak chips and salad was â¬17 euros.Only disappointment was there did not appear to have any local wines on the menu, the restaurant is in a residential area, so would be probably go un-noticed on the map. Was full of locals which is always a good sign. we really enjoyed our meal. great simple flavours at a good price.

All the reviews are spot-on.If you like Portuguese food, this is the place in Bordeaux. It's inexpensive, copious portions, with charming, friendly service. The whole atmosphere is very authentic, very much like what you'd experience in Portugal.Although it's decorated simply, it's an elegant place. The one disadvantage is it's FULL of children who are VERY loud (lots of family meals). So, not so romantic...We'd go back, just to try the suckling pig, which is a specialty, apparently.

what a Lovely place!Went there to have lunch yesterday and even tho the weather was so bad, it was totally full of people willing to have its menu. All kind of ages inside, but it is true that there were more aged ones since the place can be expensive depending on what you have. The menu my gf and I had was just great. We had a free hot lil soup and a sushi maki that were very nice. Right after I ordered myself some crispy makis and my gf had an egg and mashroom soup which were SO GOOD. As main dish I took cote de boeuf that was maybe too cooked but that was prob my fault. My mother-in-law had something out of the menu and everything tasted fantastic as well.I recommend it but you gotta know you are not gonna spend less than 35-45 each.

What a gem!! I had an amazing dinner at this very pleasant and not pretentious restaurant and will definitely be going back for more. Ordered a "menu" which began with a starter salad that was close to being a work of art. Ingredients were obviously very fresh and the presentation was first class. Could not have been better. For the main course I selected a fish dish that was served on a bed of black risotto. I was equally impressed with the presentation and it was totally delicious. The glass of rose' wine was really quite good and a bargain at less than 4 euro. The dessert was just as great as the rest of the meal. Service was very friendly and helpful and I didn't even have to use google translate as the waiter knew enough English to help me choose.Overall an excellent meal and the total with a glass of wine, a great cup of coffee came to about 27 euro. Add in 3 euro tip and it was 30 euro very well spent.

Finding restaurants like this tucked away I a quite neighbourhood of Merignac is what visiting France is all about. The restaurant is family and couple oriented. There's a great welcome when you arrive into surroundings of traditional and modern. We tried the Chef's menu which was 3 courses and an amuse bouche all for â¬35. What a bargain for a. Saturday night. Good wines are available by the glass. The a la carte menu looked very tempting as well but it is tough to beat the Chef's menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
